PERSONALLY we tag “black lolita” because oftentimes people are looking for either 1. inspiration from people of their own race or 2. they run a blog (like this one or any of the several other blogs) which look specifically for certain kinds of lolitas. 

It allows for a separation for searching purposes only. If not they would definitely get lost on the “lolita” tag and even possibly on the “sweet lolita” or “classic lolita” tags. It just allows for the display of these gorgeous people without having to go through 100000 photos of people’s new hair accessory, pictures of the book Lolita, and people text posting about HOW EXCITE THEY ARE. 

I guess my point is, the tagging system is there to make things easier. If you don’t like them, don’t go on them.

Also lolita is totally saturated with white girls and people like seeing lolitas that look like them (for both self-esteem and color-selection/makeup tips reasons), duh.
