Is it rude to finish someone's word if they have a stutter?
I recently became friends with a guy who has a stutter. And sometimes he gets stuck on a word for a little bit and I kinda just finish it for him without thinking. We’ve become fairly close and I just.. don’t want to do someone that may be demeaning or annoying to him. If you have a stutter or know someone with a stutter how do you feel about it? I never do it because his stutter annoys me. I’m just so interested in what he has to say that I kinda blurt it.. if that makes sense! Lol
1st: Good on you for asking. Far from every one takes the time to do research on this topic. 2nd: Its my impression, that most people who stutters, prefer to not have you saying their words for them. They feel that they are being interrupted. Of course i can not speak for your friend, so if you are in doubt, you should ask him.

Archive.org unleash a windfall of lost music
Archive.org deliver a windfall of lost music.
If you’re looking for a good way to spend the rest of your week, Archive.org have unearthed a gigantic collection of cassettes from the mid-eighties into the mid-nineties. According to their notes, the collection was saved from the archives of noise-arch.net and donated by former CKLN-FM radio host Myke Dyer in August of 2009. Due to the size and obscurity, the collection hasn’t been properly notated but is said to include cassettes ranging from “tape experimentation, industrial, avant-garde, indie, rock, DIY, subvertainment and auto-hypnotic materials”. Head to Archive now to download the free collection.
I know that some of you will lose your minds over this.
Rest in peace, David Bowie. Now you are an Immortal.
