“…. You’re so dimwitted sometimes.”
He huffed, crossing his arms once again as he turned his head away. Togami figured he’d be able to ease up to his usual demeanor if he threw a few insults here and there.
“Well, for starters– if a wealthy person gives you food then obviously it’s edible. It’s a ridiculous notion to think wealthy people just eat gold because it’s gold and they can afford it.”
As soon as she began rambling on about friends, Togami scoffed.
“Isn’t Oogami your best friend?– And as for me.. I don’t care to have friends. You and I are in a relationship, thus we’re more than friends. I’ve never once heard of two people who….. erhm.. love each other.. address each other as friends. Anyways, it’s a given that I like you. If I didn’t we wouldn’t be in said relationship.”
He paused however, at the mention of a husband. True, he’d thrown marriage into their conversations here and there but only recently had he even thought about it being an actual possibility.
”… When? Are you saying you want to have a husband?”
“And you’re a real bully sometimes.”
She made sure to mirror his behavior, mostly in an attempt to irritate him a little. After all, it’s what he deserved for calling her dimwitted.
“...Of course Sakura-chan is my best friend. A person can have more than one best friend! ...If we’re more than friends, doesn’t that make us friends as well as er...lovers? Is that what you’d call us?” The love word threw her off a bit. He couldn’t have been saying he loved her. He seemed to be barely able to say he liked her in a direct manner. But that was a matter for another time. Aoi was rather perplexed by his focus on the whole husband thing.
“Well...of course I want one. Eventually. I want to get married some day, and be able to have a baby or two. You know. Maybe after I win the Olympics-- ...Or before! I could always train again after I had a baby!”
