[Do you know what’s even better than commissioning a wonderful portrait of your character? It’s looking at the final piece and seeing how the artist simply NAILED his vibe. It’s not just about the right looks, there’s soul here - but then again, @divinedespair is just that awesome! 

And you can’t have a Himaa without his twin, right? Bro @doppelgangry got his portrait as well, and it’s just as perfect! ;D]

Of The Stalwart Shield

[Leaving aside the unholy screeching for a moment (but boy did I yell a bit when I first saw this.), there is a funny story behind this. My friend @swygmerl was over my house, sitting exactly next to me- And yet I did not see her commission the very, very talented @divinedespair. I even helped her by showing her the Paladin gearset, but I was so distracted (and she was very good at changing subjects quickly) that I just didn’t notice.

So this was a magnificent surprise. And it arrived in a time in which I really needed a cheer me up ;v; My verily grumpy lizard looks simply STUNNING in her style and oh-so-serious- Unlike his twin brother ( @doppelgentler ) who looks so, so very different... Yet so similar, right? ;D You’ve done an AMAZING job, I can only blabber and yell over how beatiful my boy looks ;v;

I thank both my very dear friend and the artist (Go check her page out! SHE’S A GREAT ARTIST.) who offered me something quite as beautiful as this. Thank you.]

She felt it the moment she woke up – though taking into consideration the way it seemed to linger, she would not be surprised to learn that odd sensation had been chasing her dreams away throughout the night, rendering her sleep so restless she barely had it in her to get off bed. Lying on her back, she remained absolutely still for half a bell, staring at the ceiling as if it could provide any manner of answer. Why did her bones feel heavier, her limbs weak? A ship gone adrift, lost in the ocean, dark clouds looming over it; for some reason, the imagery refused to leave her mind, and she wondered whether it was just another dream lost as she crossed the threshold to the waking world.
