Coming to the terms that I’m nonbinary feels so freeing. I’ve struggled with my gender identity for a long time. But now I feel proud to say that I in fact am nonbinary and idc what those who are against it have to say about it. This is me. So how you gonn tell me that I’m not nonbinary. I am because I say so, your opinion doesn’t matter to me. But yeah, I guess you could call this a coming out post, I just love being nonbinary and I want a space where I can express these parts of myself.

An old drawing I made of my fursona & alter ego. I think I may redesign my alter ego and take away the patterns.

My alter ego’s name is Tauri. They represent the dark parts of myself. I’ve learned to accept the parts of myself that I struggle with everyday, and decided that the only way I can be content and grow is to love myself for who I am and be kind to myself. Making a physical character out of all of that helps seperate those parts of myself so I can look at it from another perspective. Like it all forms into one being so I’m gonna treat it as if I am working on growing a healthy relationship with another person (accept it’s with myself.) I am in the process of learning to love myself and it starts with accepting my flaws.
