Hi, I love all your dorm ideas! I'm 21 and transferring from community college to a university this fall. I'll be living in the dorms but I can't help but shake the feeling that that's somehow childish or something. I don't know, I'm very self-conscious about it and feel like I'm too old for it. I was just wondering what your take was on my situation.
no way! there’s such a big range of ages at college, you most definitely will find you’re not the only 21 year old who’s dorming :) Congrats on transferring btw!

maybe its just the demographic that this blog appeals to or maybe this blog also screens the posts that it receives but i think that the lack of diversity of interior design is really limiting the mindset of people who want to expand their living space beyond typical “pinterest board” superficiality. many women do not want to express this in their living spaces as it is too much pressure to be a feminine “ideal”. (Note from the blogrunner: This blog mostly runs on submissions, so there’s no agenda behind what gets published. The only factors taken into consideration are photo quality like lighting and composition. I love diverse room styles.) (photo submitted by sadie, thanks!)
