In this EP, I explore the human spirit and psyche in a cool, dark, and retro soundscape. Each track is a continuation of the human need for love and connection. “Safe” is a longing for human contact in a child-like innocence for a protecting spirit to embrace in human form. “Lover” explores the psyche of the mind-prison humans lock themselves into when desire for another results in self-destruction. “Masculination” is endowed with the misery, darkness, and struggle that accompanies the masculine spirit that aspires to dominate other humans and things in his path. “Always” embodies the drive and desire for sexual love and intimacy of the human spirit and biology. “Connected” describes the human need to be connected to more than just physical desires, but to something greater and higher than one’s self. “Together” provokes a sense of pure love, connection, and real, human charity, goodness, and kinship to his fellow man.
