I've been speaking with Laila @lailashaqoura and have been trying to bolster support for her family's fundraisers. I'm making a new post because the last has been falling off in terms of engagement and donations. The first fundraiser is for Laila's immediate family, and the second is for her extended family, who were being represented by her cousin Tala on tumblr until tumblr banned her account. Both of these fundraisers have been verified by multiple Palestinian tumblr users. I've become deeply worried for Laila and her family after the attacks on supposed "safe zones" in Khan Yunis, and haven't heard from her since. Please, I've seen engagement with both these campaigns and Palestinian fundraisers in general fall off lately, but we can't lose hope. If you have anything to spare at all, if you were going to go on a coffee run tomorrow, please donate it to help these families escape genocide. Even if you absolutely can't donate, please share these fundraisers as far as you can to help them reach their goals. I'm setting 30k as a short-term goal for Laila's campaign and 15k for Tala's, which it has been struggling to meet for weeks. Please, this family needs your help. Laila's mother is pregnant and Tala's mother has cancer, and even the healthiest members of their family are still suffering from malnutrition and deep mental trauma from the constant threat to their lives. Hey guys i have talked to you about his campaign before but i urgently want to bring your attention back once again to my friend Bilal salah's campaign. This cant wait, so please pay attention.

Bilal ( @bilal-salah0 ) is a 22 year old who moved to germany before the genocide began, and has been raising funds to evacuate his family of 18 from gaza since, including 5 children and 3 newborns.

Bilal's financial support has been getting them through this difficult time, as prices for basic amenities like food and water skyrocket, and necessities like diapers for the babies become scarce due to the blockade.

Currently bilal has raised €66,762 raised of €70,000 goal.

He is less than €4000 away from his goal.

Bilal has been facing problems with his visa in germany and is currently under the threat of deportation. The verdict on that is to arrive in 2 weeks, by August 15th. If he recieves deportation orders, he might be declared stateless by september. He is still caught up in looking for a lawyer to fight this, and due to the uncertainty of his housing situation in the immediate future, he hasn't been able to campaign for his family like he used to before.

I don't know what else we can do for him right now, but the least we can do at the moment is try to get Bilal to his goal so that his family can have this assurance, and so that we can at least ease this one worry off his shoulders. So i am appealing to you to please help him out and get him though that last stretch as soon as possible, he needs all the help he can get.

My family in Gaza is enduring extremely harsh conditions. For over 9 months, they have been living in Jabalia Camp under severe hunger and thirst, completely isolated from the outside world. They wait for hours in long lines to secure water and food, with no shelter or safe place to stay, and their homes have been destroyed under the scorching summer heat. Civilians and the defenseless in their tents are being targeted randomly, adding to their daily suffering.

Every day, I wonder how long this situation will continue. Will it end, and will they survive? If they survive the bombings, will my family survive the hunger and thirst in northern Gaza? Will I see them after 7 years of being apart? Will the Rafah crossing be opened for them? Will they become just numbers on TV screens?

After months of deep reflection, I decided to create a fundraising campaign to help my family leave Gaza and secure a better future. Please, help me take care of them and keep them safe until they have the chance to evacuate.
