I wanted to share some campaigns for people who've reached out to me in order to support them and hopefully get more donations for these families.
There are 10 families below the cut. I've donated $5 to each and I'm asking anyone who can to please match me (or donate more) to as many campaigns as you can. Every donation makes a difference and families really need consistent funds because the cost of basic needs is so impossibly high. Five dollars or euros can really add up the more people who donate, so please skip your coffee today, tomorrow, and the next day to help these families.
Please keep in mind that campaign goals may change due to the constantly changing conditions in Gaza, the high cost of food and shelter, and medical care. The goals noted in this post may not be accurate by the time you see this post, so please don't think that a campaign close to its goal is going to be done soon!

Help 5-Year-Old Mariam and Her Family Escape the Horrors of War in Gaza 🍉🕊
Five-year-old Mariam, with her bright pink backpack and tiny han… amjad abuzour needs your support for Help 5-Year-Old Mariam and Escape the
Five-year-old Mariam,🕊with her bright pink backpack and tiny hands clutching a red rose, was ready to head to her KG2 class. It was a Saturday morning, October 7, and Mariam was filled with excitement and pride for reaching the next stage of her education. She wanted to surprise her kind teacher with that little rose. But in an instant, her world — our world — was torn apart.
Without warning, the skies filled with the sounds of explosions. The joyful morning turned into a nightmare of dust, fear, and destruction. Her preschool was shattered, her teacher’s life taken, and our neighborhood became a place of ruin. That single day marked the beginning of a relentless assault on Gaza — a place where childhood dreams, laughter, and innocence were erased in moments.
I am Khaled Ismail, a 41-year-old father, and my wife Rasha is 32. We live in Gaza with our three children. Our youngest, beautiful Mariam🕊, is just five years old. Our eldest, Walid, 12, is a boy full of dreams, always hoping to become an inventor. And in the middle, there’s Karim, our 10-year-old, whose laughter and jokes used to brighten our darkest days.
But the war has left scars that words cannot heal. The day of the first airstrike changed everything. Rubble covered their toys, and black dust filled the air. The sound of my children’s cries mixed with the chaos of families running for their lives. We left our home that day, desperately searching for safety. But every step, every shelter, brought only more destruction.
For a year now, we have been displaced, moving from one place to another, only to be met with more violence. Today, our home is nothing more than a frail tent. It offers no shelter from the burning heat of summer or the biting cold of winter. My children’s small bodies are battered by this reality — malnutrition, intestinal infections, heat stroke, and even hepatitis are constant threats.
I have nothing left to change our situation. My children have lost everything. I have lost everything. Their childhood is buried under the rubble, their dreams replaced by survival, and their once-joyful laughter now a faint memory.
I am humbly reaching out to you with a plea to help us escape this endless nightmare. Our dream is simple: to find safety, to give our children a chance at life, to give Mariam and her brothers a future. With every dollar, you offer a glimmer of hope, a step closer to a place where they can finally be children again.
Please, be the reason my family finds peace. Your support, even just one dollar, can make all the difference. Together, we can turn this story of despair into one of hope and resilience. Start today, and be a part of the miracle we need.
Help Mariam🕊. Help my family. Let us find a place to live with dignity and hope. Thank you for reading, and thank you for caring.

Thought I'd share the Palestinian colors version of my MASK UP! poster 🍉😷🇵🇸 Thank you so much to everyone who shared and downloaded the FREE MASK UP! poster pack!
Hypothetically, you can print this on a risograph by download the design in separate color files and using red, black, and green, and it'll look basically like this mock-up. Let me know if you actually print it in any way, I'd love to hear more C:
We CAN take care of each other, and a better world is possible. If you're feeling alone and helpless, masking up with N95s/KN95s when around others, indoors AND outdoors, is a great place to start. Masking helps protect us from deadly pathogens (like viruses and smoke) PLUS it stymies police surveillance and makes events more accessible to disabled people. All our struggles against fascism and genocide are united, and Palestine will be free!

Dear friends, this is your friend Hussam, speaking to you today with a heavy heart and deep humility. I reach out to you in this moment of desperation, as our large family faces the relentless grip of winter in Gaza, a time when the harsh realities of war weigh heavily upon us. I implore you to open your hearts and extend your hands in support. Our children, innocent and full of dreams, are in dire need of your compassion. Even the smallest contribution can make a world of difference in providing the basic necessities of life that we so desperately lack.
The image I share with you reveals our harsh reality: we are living in a makeshift tent, crafted from thin fabric curtains that do little to shield us from the biting cold and relentless winter rains. Please, let us not suffer in silence. Your kindness can bring warmth and hope to our lives during this bleak season. Together, we can create a brighter tomorrow for our family and countless others in need. Thank you for considering our plea.

From the depths of our hearts, thank you for any assistance you can provide. Time is of the essence! 😊🚨
My name is Lubna Alajrami, and I am a devoted mother from Gaza. At 30 years old, I cherish my three beautiful children: Eline, aged 7, Kinda, 2, and my precious son, Nasser, who is 4 years old.🤗
Amidst this dire situation,My heart aches for my son Nasser, who is 4 years old, and suffers from a thyroid problem that has caused him delayed growth and mental retardation. We lack the means to provide him with medical treatment and the most basic necessities, such as diapers and milk. Urgent medical care is imperative, but our current circumstances are beyond our reach. I cannot provide treatment nor buy Pampers, which are now priced at $70.💔💔
My family, including my husband, three kids, and I once led a content and joyous life in the North of Gaza. However, the onset of war-shattered our dreams, our home, and our means of sustenance. Today, we find ourselves with nothing but the fragments of what was once our life.😭😭💔💔💔
My husband, Rami, works as a home electrician. He moved away from us for 3 years so that he could raise the money necessary to build a beautiful house for our family and to open a shop that would be a source of livelihood for our family. But the war destroyed our house and our shop, it destroyed everything beautiful. We became without a home or a source of livelihood.💔💔😭😭
Allow me to share with you the stark reality we face. With the outbreak of conflict, we sought refuge in the south, settling in Deer Albalah, clinging to the hope of safety until the storm of war abated. Yet, our reality is now a tent in a refugee camp devoid of basic amenities. Our living space is confined, lacking toilets, kitchens, and even access to clean water and electricity. For full year, we've endured the harshness of our circumstances, battling not only the physical challenges but also the pervasive illnesses that haunt the refugee camp. All these conditions directly affected my son Nasser's health for the worst. It breaks my heart to see my child suffering and needing medical aid while I have nothing I can do.😭😭💔💔💔
Hence, I ask you for your kindness and generosity to support our cause. This fundraising campaign aims to provide the necessary medical treatment and health care for Nasser, to secure milk and Pampers for my child, and to secure the life requirements of my family, because we are now without work and without a source of livelihood.💔💔🙏🙏🙏🙏
Your assistance can make a tangible difference in our lives. Here's how you can help:
Donate whatever amount you can afford to support our cause.
Share our fundraiser with your network, spreading awareness of our plight.
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate these trying times.
No matter how small, every contribution is a beacon of hope for us. Your kindness and compassion will serve as a lifeline, guiding us towards a brighter tomorrow.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Lubna Alajrami

This is a fragment from the missiles that are being launched onto the tents, where people are under attack by the latest weapons while still in their shelters. They are surrounded by hunger, fear, death, and suffering from both physical and psychological illnesses. No one in Gaza is safe amidst this destruction.
My family is living through an unbearable nightmare. Please, help me evacuate them from Gaza and ease their suffering. Any donation, no matter the amount, contributes to saving innocent lives including six children. Even a €5 donation can make a difference. If you cannot donate, please keep sharing this message to raise awareness.
You are our only hope. Without your help, we cannot do anything for our families in Gaza. Thank you for your support and solidarity.

The only update for Falastin’s campaign today is that the children are starving. That’s it. If you want more details on their suffering you can see her blog HERE or read one of the gfm updates.
Last week her family received 52% less donations than in a week prior, and for this week the trend seems to continue. 161$ today, 180$ yesterday, 52$ on Monday. They haven’t met the goal of 500$ per day (which is really NOT enough to feed 26 people in Gaza but was meant to be a start) in 13 days.
I repeat again, this is for 26 people. And they still need tents and clothes (see this post from September of what they have to live with), but since they didn’t receive enough support to buy them they spend whatever they have right now on food. And, again, donations are slowing down and they cannot even afford food with them anymore.
That doesn’t mean that you should not help by the way, quite the contrary. Even 10 SEK or 1 USD will at least push the fundraiser up in the search results and that can attract people outside of Tumblr. And if you need an extra incentive there is another round of a raffle for Palestinian thob: LINK

Nothing can truly show you the reality of what's happening in Gaza, not a picture, not a video, and not even words. The truth is far worse than anything an image can capture. Families are not just enduring genocide, they’re being erased. Their history, their homes, their existence, wiped away like they were never there.
What’s left behind? Bits and pieces. Fragments. A scrap of fabric here, a shattered memory there. People are still trapped beneath the rubble. Some are alive, their voices weak but desperate, pleading for help that will never come. There’s no rescue equipment. No teams to save them. And anyone brave enough to try is met with drones, striking down anyone who gets close.
Those who’ve managed to survive aren’t just hungry, they’re freezing. Imagine huddling in a makeshift tent, shaking not just from fear but from the biting cold that seeps into your bones. The wind tears through everything, ripping apart whatever tiny bit of warmth you’ve managed to cling to. Inside the tent, there’s no comfort. Only the sound of bodies rustling as they try to stay warm, muffled cries of grief, and the haunting sound of people buried beneath the rubble, their faint cries for help echoing in the dark.
The cold doesn’t care. It doesn’t spare anyone—not children, not parents, not the elderly. It sinks into everyone, leaving them numb, both physically and emotionally. Hunger takes what little strength they have left, and the cold takes their hope. This isn’t some tragic story from the past—it’s happening right now. These are my people. This is my family.
A single line can hold the weight of an entire story, and a single choice can save a life. What if you skipped that extra coffee, brush pack, or subscription and put that money toward rescuing lives in Gaza ? One small sacrifice from you could provide food, warmth, or even survival to my family who’ve lost everything.
You might wonder, “Does it really matter? Can I make a difference?” The answer is yes. Every dollar you give is a line of hope, a stand against the darkness. Don’t let this story fade. Don’t let Gaza disappear into silence.
Please help us and donate now if you can, and reblog this post to spread our story.

Hello to the world… I'm Mohamed (Mo) from Gaza. I Work as graphic designer , I grew up in the city of Rafah. This city holds all my beautiful memories and childhood experiences. I've now grown up and am 36 years old. Below, I'll share an overview of what we went through during this war
This photo of my family and I, captures the happiness we once shared before the war. We were cherished, lived with dignity, and our homes were filled with joy, warmth, and love. Then war cast its dark shadow over everything. It destroyed our homes, our health, and our spirits. Everything turned black. We became weary and displaced, wandering from place to place, carrying our burdens on our shoulders and hiding our tears from our children.
This photo captures our suffering as we are displaced from one place to another, watching our homes being destroyed 💔
This is our neighborhood in Tal Al-sultan and our home, which was later bombed by the occupation again, and reduced to rubble. Our dreams of living in a home for years to come were shattered, until Gaza is rebuilt
Despite everything we're going through, I still hold on to what I'm used to… taking care of animals, especially cats, is the most beautiful thing in the world
I'm the father of the most beautiful cat in the world (Cookie). He was born at the beginning of the war, and we've been sharing our daily memories for over a year now. In addition to four cats,Asaal and her kittens Luna, Luka, and Katy
I write to you with a heavy heart, longing for a dignified life. Please help me and my family to reclaim a piece of that life.
This is the third day without a single piece of bread. Even when available, it’s unbelievably expensive, costing around $250. Hunger has been our reality for 410 days of war. We are in a catastrophic situation. Please donate or share to help me provide food for my family. Your support is life-saving.
Who can help us afford the cost of a bag of flour so we can eat?
You can help now by donating, and if you can’t, sharing is free. Please, share our voice.
