The “LOVE” series is dedicated to the intimate side of life and romantic relationships, — something that happened to me personally quite rarely; so the works of the series can be defined as illusions of memory (or nostalgia for something that does not exist in my current life).

“LOVE” includes sketches and drawings from Nickie Zimov’s “Personal Diary of Sensations”, in which I capture my own nature with its feelings, but through the eyes of someone else. I’m always trying to perceive romantic connections (such as hugs, kisses), loneliness and despair over the paintings as my own experience. Each work is my self-portrait, but in false memories.

Therefore, the main subject of my artistic practice is understanding (and sometimes showing) what love is (or might be) through colors, shapes and forms.

The project is available as NFT on Foundation.app. The owner of this NFT will also receive 1 hour of meditative and calming “Music to make love to” originally composed by me.
