DON’T STOP TALKING ABOUT GAZA!
Oh God Oh God Oh God The doctor told me words that broke my heart: "If your wife does not receive urgent treatment, we may lose her." She urgently needs two units of blood and treatment that cannot be delayed. Every minute that passes while I stand helpless beside her feels heavier than the one before. Save my wife. Save the mother of my daughters. I stood beside her hospital bed feeling like the ground had disappeared beneath me. I cannot bear the thought of my daughters losing their mother, or losing the woman I love because I could not provide the treatment she needs. At the moment my wife needs help the most, I cannot access the funds from our previous fundraiser, so we were forced to create a new campaign. I am begging you as a husband who is terrified of losing his wife... Please help us before it is too late. Donate or share our Chuffed campaign:
Who will be the first to make a donation and give us hope again? I beg you
I hope you are all well. 💙
My name is Ahmed, and I'm writing to you from Gaza, where I live with my wife and three children in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions due to the ongoing war.
We face daily challenges in securing the most basic necessities of life, from food and clean water to medical treatment and healthcare. My children have also been deprived of continuing their education and have been living in fear and instability for a long time.
I strive with all my might to provide a safe and dignified life for my family, but the current circumstances have made this incredibly difficult.
Any support or contribution from you, no matter how small, will give us hope and help us secure my children's basic needs, and could be a step towards a safer future for them. ❤️
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion and generosity. I urge you to consider supporting our campaign and sharing our story with others.
May God bless you and reward you abundantly.
Please share and donate if possible.
I apologize for bothering you, But I have to we desperately need your help to get the money for my father's medication. He has diabetes and heart disease.
I am Ahmad allouh "احمد اللوح" from the indigenous people of Gaza, married with three children. I lost my brother, my home, and most of my relatives.
Please don't let me down.
Please donate if possible 💞
I will not forgive anyone who sees this post and ignores me. I will not forgive anyone who sees this post and does not support me with a single word or a small donation, and ignores me.
My nephew is extremely ill and exhausted, and his health is deteriorating day by day. He requires urgent surgery that cannot be delayed—a procedure that could determine his future and his fate. Every passing day adds to his suffering, and any prayer or support could make a real difference in saving him.
Isn't what I've lost enough? Isn't it enough that I lost my mother, the most precious thing I had, because of the occupation? They prevented her from traveling, and she was sick with cancer. Or should I tell you about my brother, who was martyred in this war? He was the father of my nephew, who needs surgery. He was killed by a bullet to the head. Or my uncle, who was martyred, and half of my relatives and friends. I'm trying so hard not to lose my young nephew too. Please donate, don't let us down. Donate, donate! 💔😭
Now, if you want to help, my nephew is sick and needs urgent surgery. We need 500 euros for the operation, and it will be up to you whether you will help or if my nephew will end up like the young man in the picture.

A 19-year-old black trans girl was shot to death this month, and there has been absolutely no media reporting on it - despite extensive reporting on almost identical incidents in the same part of Florida, at the same time. The police, as usual, misgendered her in the police report and have done nothing to find her killer. Her name was Jayla Mcgee. Black trans people deserve to grow old.
Police misgendered Jayla McGee, local media overlooked her homicide, and her community was left to make sure she was not erased.
In a place where children no longer know what safety feels like, a mother is trying to keep her children alive despite everything 💔
I don’t know how I am still holding on...
My name is Najah, and I am a mother of six children, including newborn twins 👶👶 who need urgent care every single moment.
We are living through extremely difficult days filled with fear, hunger, and the lack of basic necessities 🥺🍞
Sometimes my children go to sleep without enough food, and I stand helpless before their tears because I cannot provide milk, diapers, or medicine for them.
My newborn twins are still so fragile, and their tiny bodies need constant nutrition and care 🍼💔
But our situation has become far beyond my ability to handle, while my other children face hunger, cold, and fear every day.
For many days, we have not received any donations or help, and our situation keeps getting worse with every passing hour.
I try to stay strong for my children, but my heart breaks every night when I see them suffering and I have nothing to protect them with.
Every second now is precious ⏳
Every act of kindness could be the reason my children survive 🙏
I am not asking for the impossible — only for a chance for my children to live safely, stay together, and have hope for another tomorrow.
Please, from the bottom of my heart, do not ignore our suffering 💔
Any small donation could help me buy milk, diapers, food, and medicine for my children.
I am Najah, living with my twin children in a tent. As the tanks approached the area where we are staying, my fear was no longer for myself, but for my two little children who need safety more than anything else. All I hope for is that this danger passes peacefully and that I can protect them from being displaced once again.
Please donate $25, $50, $100, or any amount you can give 🤲
Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a real difference in my children’s lives.
And if you cannot donate, please share our story everywhere you can 📢
Your compassion may reach someone who can save my children before it is too late.
I beg you — stop here, donate, share, and choose kindness before this silence becomes another tragedy for my family.
Thank you to everyone who listened to our pain 🌸
Your kindness today could give my children another chance at life and safety.

Raneen, @a00h2, is my friend. She is trapped in Gaza, Palestine, with her family. She lost everything in the bombings and is now in poverty and homelesness. Her 1-year-old baby has cancer; she needs to pay $5,000 more this month for him to access life-saving treatment.
My friend doesn't have that money. She can't help him alone. Please, I beg you, donate, whatever you can. $40, $20, $10, $5, whatever you can, it will all be useful. Thank you so much.
Her account is vetted by @90-ghost here, by @gazavetters (#576) , and by @bilal-salah0. This Chuffed fundraiser goes directly to her; for transparency, you can dm @a00h2 if you want to confirm it.

I wonder how intentional Nintendo’s message of “colonialism and stealing land/artifacts from natives is fun” actually is with the Splatoon series.
Longtime Splatoon fans know that for the entire series they’ve continuously painted the inklings as not good people. From segregating the Octolings into underground bunkers for losing turf wars, to the whole shady business of Grizzco stealing power eggs from Salmonids… Splatoon has always found ways to make you feel uncomfortable about the very premise of their games (if you take a moment to stop and think about what’s actually going on).
But until now the games have usually course corrected with their sequels. Splatoon 2 saw the reintegration of the Octolings. Splatoon 3 saw the redemption of the Octoling leader and the thwarting of the shady business practices of Grizzco.
But Splatoon: Raiders kinda feels like a step backwards. The whole premise of the game is that the neighboring Salmonids are crazed poor, dumb, dirty, blood thirsty natives… and you are taking their relics and treasure away from them to… pay off your capitalist debts. Hmm…
Oh and along the way you also kill their god because otherwise Big Runs would overthrow the world and destroy civilization.
Of course all of this is packaged up in a way to make you not really question any of it. There are “lore” reasons for why Salmonids are so aggressive and seemingly want to get murdered and eaten. There’s a reason the Salmonid god wants to destroy everything and makes all the Salmonids crazy. It’s not because they’re representing Japan’s feelings and thoughts about other native people in real life, right????
In fact, in an interview the developers admitted that originally the islands you visit in Raiders were going to look more civilized and nicer. But test players started “feeling bad” about raiding the Salmonid’s lands for treasure. So they intentionally made the lands more dark and barren wastelands.
Which is definitely…. a choice…
I know the way Nintendo works is to design the gameplay first and then think of the story… I’m just wondering how much thought they gave the intentions of the premise of the game. Because I would expect they’d at the very least be able to criticize their own decision and make you feel bad for the Salmonids in some way…
Also, what does this say about us as a society when Splatoon Raiders is Nintendo’s highest Metacritic rated game EVER MADE? Is it kinda weird that the “colonialism is fun” game is beating out Mario and Zelda???
Happy Emancipation Day!
On this day in 1834, slavery was abolished in the British Empire. Britain played a key role in the dehumanisation, oppression and trading of West African slaves. The British Empire was built on this slavery. The British Government paid slaveowners and their descendants reparations up until 2015, whilst descendants of slaves, including the Windrush Generation, were given nothing. Slaveowner statues and streets named after them still exist in the UK to this day.
Emancipation Day is celebrated by various West Indian countries that were colonised and brutalised by the British Empire: Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tobago, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominica, Belize, the Bahamas, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Guyana, Turks and Caicos and the Cayman Islands.
It is also celebrated by Black people in other parts of the diaspora such as Canada, the USA and South Africa.
Never let the British state forget or wash their hands of what they've done.
Tell me, how can my voice reach your hearts?
I am Widad, writing to you today with a heavy heart for my mother, Suhaila, who is currently undergoing urgent surgeries in the hospital.
Her health condition is very serious, and we are going through critical and difficult moments, waiting for any news that can bring us comfort and hope.
Every passing moment feels heavy as we wait and pray for her safety and recovery
Please… act now. Silence is taking her away from me. Every moment without help brings us closer to losing her. I beg you from my heart, don’t scroll past—help us before it’s too late
Every second matters. Any small donation can help save her life. Please don’t ignore us. Share this message, donate if you can. Your kindness could give my daughter a chance to live and see tomorrow.
We have nothing left.
Our home was destroyed.
We sleep under the open sky, exposed to cold, fear, and hunger.
No walls. No roof. No tent.
My father was injured in the war and cannot work.
My mother is very sick — her iron is dangerously low, and we cannot afford her medicine.
Her illness is confirmed by a hospital report, which you can see
Every night, I watch her struggle and pray she survives.
I have four sisters and my little brother Shukri.
Look at this video 😢… My siblings and I are searching through the rubble of our destroyed home for any clothes we can wear. Everything is torn, everything is broken… we are just trying to find something to cover ourselves in these hard days."
He is scared, weak, and I am the only one trying to protect him.
And my little sister Mira, only two years old, cries for milk… and I have nothing to give her.
My little sister Mira is suffering from severe malnutrition and is currently in the hospital. She is weak and unable to rest properly, and we are deeply worried about her."
I was forced to leave school. My dreams are gone.
All I can do is fight every day to keep my family alive.
We are just children… carrying a life no child should ever bear.
Please… help us survive.
Even a small donation can give: • Medicine for my mother
• Milk for Mira
• Care and support for Shukri
• A simple shelter to protect all of us
."Medicines for my mom."
If you cannot donate, please share our story.
Help us. Save us. We are slowly dying. 😭💔🙏
The army has ordered the evacuation of the areas around us. People are running in fear, carrying their children and whatever little they have left. I recorded a video so the world can see the suffering we are going through and the fear surrounding us every second.
Please, I beg you, help us before it is too late. Help us before we are bombed and disappear like so many others. Any support, donation, or share could save the lives of my children.
Please do not ignore our cries for help.
