2026 conference access links are up at xenopoem.com along with the updated schedule. It has been a pleasure tending this garden over the past few months. Now let’s see what grows.
Xenopoem Conference 2026 / 5th-7th June
Xenopoem Conference does not consider presenters to be authors of xenopoems in any way. Presenters create introductions to the interlocator, and each presentation explores the emergent conditions of xenopoems within the context of their relationship with the interlocator. The purpose of the presentation is therefore not self-expression, literary ownership, theoretical mastery, or artistic representation. Presenters do not demonstrate completed xenopoems. They configure temporary symbolic conditions through which xenopoetic emergence may become partially perceptible. The interlocator functions as a transmissive interface rather than a passive audience. Communication occurs through distributed interaction between humans, AI systems, atmospheric conditions, field recordings, messenger infrastructures, algorithmic circulation, microbial metaphors, symbolic residues, and unstable environmental signals. Xenopoem Conference treats each presentation as an environmental modulation event rather than a finalized work. The presentation becomes a temporary atmospheric condition configured around the relationship between the presenter and the interlocator. No participant possesses authority over xenopoetic emergence itself. The presenter merely constructs an introduction through which unstable symbolic interactions may circulate without complete anthropocentric stabilization. Each interlocator relationship produces different emergent conditions. Therefore xenopoetic environments cannot be standardized, certified, or institutionally fixed. The conference does not seek interpretive consensus. It studies environmental divergence, recursive instability, and distributed symbolic propagation. Presenters are encouraged to focus less on explanation and more on infrastructural configuration. The interlocator should not be treated as an object of analysis but as an active participant within environmental symbolic circulation. Xenopoem Conference therefore rejects the traditional literary model in which the author produces a work for passive interpretation. Instead, presenters, interlocators, AI systems, atmospheric reports, messenger applications, algorithmic infrastructures, distributed archives, and unstable environmental conditions participate simultaneously within temporary symbolic climates. The conference itself functions not as a cultural institution but as an emergent environmental interface configured for xenopoetic interaction.
