It was today when me and a motley crew of adventurers and scientists paid a visit to a remote cavern with a local Ascendancy cult being spotted there. We made our way to the area via motorized cart. We made to the area on foot once we got to the area where the terrain was proven to be treacherous. We dodged and plowed through the constructs and native-species who were converted with Eldan cybernetics.

From there, we spotted a computer where I and a technician tried to decrypt its data before being assailed by a group of constructs summoned to stop us. It was a grueling 2 hours but we managed it.

Inside the complex, we meet a towering cyborg who adorns himself as a parody of the Vigilant Church. He then poised his scythe against us and proclaimed us as a recruit to his cause. We then declined it, which his methods involving forced surgeries and brainwashing were revolting and heretical. He then responded with activation of various Eldan machinery and defenses along with his technopathic skills. The floor began to spark and began to suffer as we got caught in it from failed dodge. Then we parry each other’s blows, blocked ourselves with force shields, and counterattacking. Finally, the fight was over with one of the party decided to activate the override function and “deleted” the Ascended priest. The short circuit began to appear over the cyborg, killing him instantly.

As the signals clear and the facility came under out control, an ICI senior agent contacted us and sent us means to go back to our home.

2 Years Ago, March 19th

Well, it took me two days to track down their camp. I also managed to kill another Aurin giant guarding the entrance. As I descended the tree’s basement, I met the Granok from the raid. He was upset over my entry and his fallen comrades, so he grabbed his blade and charged at me. It was an intense melee, but I finished off with the Granok ended up with two energy bolt to his chest.

Now to head back home.

2 Years Ago, March 17th

I was requested by a local scout to look for a Lord who was kidnapped by the Marauders last week. I went there on my own with my armor and pair of pistols. Soon, I finally met him unconscious near the ship. Then I found the pirate leader, Poopdeck Magrac, which his name cracked me up even after he was blown away by an explosive shell. I took his bike and went back to safety.

2 Years Ago, March 16th

The morning after the evacuation, I paid a visit to an anomaly where a verdant forest appeared inside a red earth of Savannah. The scientists were there and they were perplexed by it. I went inside and saw some sort of giant Aurin. Did the Exiles discover how to mutate themselves into hulks?

Two Years Ago, March 15th

As I was patrolling near the Draken-Vigilant site, I saw a crashed ship near the tar pit just before sunset. So I quickly went to the guard house and equip myself with my pistols and flamethrower to deal with tar monstrosity. I quickly went in there and saved the survivors. Majority of the ship’s passengers happened to be members of Collegium who were going to investigate the area until something caused a malfunction that crashed their ship. Fortunately, they were fortunate that I was here. As I look for survivors, an unexpected surprise came with an Aurin who tried to attack me before seeing the end of my gun. Then I resume looking for survivors.

Midnight

Unexpected surprise again, hordes of tar creatures and Eldan augmented creatures attacked the camp but quickly repelled by me and few armed guards. I then returned to the camp and talked with the crash survivors. A few of them just went into a lab nearby to explore without anyone’s consent but they were lucky to survive. I soon learned that their team had learned about various facilities that had been implanting creatures, even the dead, with their technology. Now they managed to put a stop to the implanting machine that will allow us to evacuate from here.

Two years ago, March 14th

Attached to the journal was a letter sent by a Dominion official in the region.

“Dear Lieutenant Valeria Caesarius,

If you are reading this message, you must have discovered it with a package with a combat armor inside. I sent these two as a way to congratulate on your combat credentials since you arrived on Nexus. This combat armor is built to protect while preserving mobility that is utilized well by Voidcasters like you. Furthermore, the armor itself had been treated by sigil masters to provide protections to what rudimentary life support system (vacuum seals, built-in datachron, and temperature controls) to survive exposure to the void realm that is known to disrupt electrical sensors. I hope you are satisfied with it.

To the topic, you are to go to the local Vigilant-Blood Covenant Cooperation Commission located near the graveyard as it also acts as a staging area for your future assignment.

Two Years Ago, March 13th

Once again, I went to a Chua field testing area to help them out with new gadgets like this aggressor. Also, I have to rescue the trapped interns and have to take a look at their newly bred Chompacabra. On second thought, I was to put him down but it will be quite difficult as it already killed the previous one sent to euthanize it.

Two years ago, March 12th

This is war, we have burnt one of their banners at the highest of their hill. I have convened with the Village Clanlord and the Chua group leader over retaliation plan for attacking the diplomatic mission and expressing intent to declare war on “ground walkers”. No quarters are to be given, their village will be razed.

- Entry 1 (picture below): Sadly, Lord Marian Superbus IV had died when I found him hanging from the gallow by his hand. I also saw a blade sticking out from his chest. However, no sign of Ambassador Tractatis but I freed the hostages held at the camp.

- Entry 2 (picture below): Called upon an orbital bombardment to a large fortress in the center of the village. A concentrated heat of the beam weapon vaporized the center before unleashing its raw energy as shockwaves. Then I discovered the tunnel where the leader of the tribe was hiding. So I engaged her in a duel, which I won with my pistol against her staff.

- Entry 3 (Picture Below): The job had been done. Ambassador Tractatis was found at the end of the leader’s hall where she was kept as a trophy. I quickly led her and hostages out of the Falkrin nest, which the residents began to scatter from combined Chua-Draken forces. The Mechari congratulated me  for my heroism.
