The otter carefully opened the door, trying to be quiet. He had Somthing in his arms, wrapped in a blanket.

-> The dove was seated in the living room, one leg crossed over the other and a book held within his talons. Luckily enough it seems like the otter had been quiet enough to not alert the avian.

He gently shut the door before going over to the couch and setting the thin wrapped around in a blanket behind it. A small squeak could be heard causing Ego to jump up and try to look normal before Egg noticed.

-> The dove perked up at the small noise, his wings fluffinf up before settling down as he turned to look at the otter, the eyes of his visor shifting into a question mark. "Oh! You didn't announce you were home like you always do, pup... How was work today?" -> He sets his book down, keeping his place in the novel with one of his pretty golden feathers.

“They let me off early due to uh….some things that had happened. I brought home a surprise!”

He seemed to be not staying on one topic, nervously messing with his claws. His ears were popped up as high as they could go and his tail wagging rapidly.

“I think you will be excited!”

[dove-conductor]

-> The dove hummed and sat up a little more, head cocking to the side as the question mark faded, the normal eyes of his visor returning as he let out a little coo. "A surprise...?"

“Yes! Now- stay calm- she’s very skittish-“

She? Was it an animal? The otter leaned down for a moment before popping his head back at Egg with a big toothy smile.

“Ready?”

"Of course I am, dear! Show me what you've got there!" -> He couldn't stop himself from giggling as he placed his hands on his lap, tail feathers beginning to wag excitedly. What could his knight have gotten that was oh so special?

“It took a minute…”

Ego leaned down and grabbed a bundle of something from the back of the couch, lifting it up and cradling it. He soon moved to the other side of the couch and sat down.

“But I was able to get her to trust me once she touched my hand…”

He moved a bit of the blanket out of the way to reveal the shine of a golden eye…

“She has your eyes…your hair…and my species…”

-> The dove seemed to take a moment to process what the otter was holding, what was swaddled oh so gently within little warm blankets. He cooed, reaching over and taking the little girl's hand. "Is... Is this..." -> He could feel the little tears well up in his eyes as he pulled off his visor, wanting to take a proper look at the baby in front of him.

“It is…her gear is behind the couch.”

The child gripped the dove’s finger tightly and chittered. They were tiny and high pitched compared to Ego’s…

She stared intently at Egg…

“It’s a Dueling Shield…”

"Our little Duel..." -> The dove leaned over and carefully took the baby from his beloved, holding her close and gently chirping down at her, a smile spreading across his face. "Ego... She's so beautiful... Look at our little angel."

Dual was very fluffy and poofy for an otter. Her hair bounced with every flick of those tiny ears. Her eyes seemed big and a bright gold as she stared right at Egg with so much curiosity.

“She knows no fear. Only caution.”

She let out a noise that sounded something like a squeaky toy as she grabbed onto the conductor’s horn.

"That's my horn, sweetie... Careful with my horn..." -> He chirped softly in delight and leaned down, placing a gentle kiss onto the young infernal's forehead. "She's so beautiful, Ego... This was honestly the best choice the two of us have ever made..."

The little inphernal chirped in surprise and let go of the horn, looking up at her papa with confusion. She didn’t seem to understand the concept of kisses yet.

Ego scooted closer and leaned down, reaching his hand out for Dual to take. She didn’t seem and started to mess with the fingers. Seems she gets easily distracted.

“She looks like you so much….when I saw her I knew she was ours…”

-> The dove couldn't help the little ears that pricked the corners of his eyes, threatening to fall as he cuddled up towards his lover, resting his head on the knight's shoulder. "She's perfect..." -> His small wings waggled with delight as he carefully tapped Duel's nose with his talon. "The most perfect little girl in all of Playground..."

“That she is…I wonder how she will be with Star and Foll…”

Ego moved the blanket back over Dual as she yawned, tiny fangs displaying how sharp pup’s teeth really are. She curled into Egg and closed her eyes…

“Someone is tired.”

"Well if she's anything like you then I feel like she'll take a very quick liking to our little axolotl... The mischievous types always seem to find each other, don't they, Ego?" -> He holds the young infernal close to his body with one arm, bringing his other hand up to lightly pinch the otter's cheek. "You better not teach her how to be a troublemaker, Egobworder."

“Ow- I am going to allowed her to be herself my love-!”

He leaned into Egg and nuzzled against his hand. He had that stupid smile on his face, ears flapping happily now that he’s getting attention.

"Good... I don't need to baby another little troublemaker. You're bad enough, my love!" -> He chuckles and presses a kiss onto the otter's nose, snuggling up close to the other's side as he cradles the little infernal close to his chest. "I wonder if she'll want to be like you... Not many female knights in Playground...."

“Who wouldn’t want to be like the great Egobworder!”

He giggles and adjusted himself to hug both of them. His tail hit the cushions gently and slowly, enjoying the moment..

"There's plenty of people who wouldn't, dear." -> He chirped softly and closed his eyes, resting against his lover and lightly running his talons through Duel's hair. "I wonder how that master of yours will react to her..."

He greased his finger against Egg’s horns lightly and smiled softly. Gods this is everything he ever wanted. A life with Egg and with a little family of their own….

"Our little girl..." -> He hums softly and shifts his head, looking up at the otter knight for a moment before looking back down at the young infernal. "I wonder if Star and Follower would ever create a child. I think it would be nice for Dueling Shield to have a little friend..."

He wanted to take Dual up to see Star and Foll right now, as soon as possible even. Although he will wait. For the sake of letting Dual have a place she’s comfortable in.

"You never know, pup. Maybe Star could convince that man to make a child with him. Besides, Follower's gear wouldn't take any damage given the fact he's got divine blood..." -> He chirps softly and leans down, pressing a gentle kiss onto his daughter's forehead. "We'll have to send a letter to Star and Follower at some point about the little one..."

Ego scooted closer and leaned down, reaching his hand out for Dual to take. She didn’t seem and started to mess with the fingers. Seems she gets easily distracted.

Ego didn’t have work today. He had to ask off because something has been bothering him for a while now.

He can’t take it running around in his brain like a bunch of wild monkeys. He looked around for Egg, dressed down a little.

The otter was nervous but took a deep breath he walked over and leaned down behind Egg, taking one of the dove’s hands in his own, running his thumb over the backside of it.

He buried his face into his neck and purred…he was supposed to be at work.

-> Egg fluffed up a little in surprise and turned his head a little, looking at his fiancé with gentle smile as he squeezes the otter's hands back. "Pup! Aren't you supposed to be working today? Are you feeling alright?"

“I…took off…there is something I’ve been meaning to ask you and…it’s been running through my head ever since I proposed…”

He looked very nervous and unsure. This must of been on his mind for a long while now…

-> The dove shifts slightly, letting go of Ego's hands and cupping his fiance's face with a gentle coo, leaning up and pressing a kiss onto the space between the otter's eyes. "Oh my love... You know you're free to tell me anything, alright? What's been weighing down on that beautiful mind of yours?" -> He coos again and rubs his cheek affectionately against Ego's.

“My topaz…my imagination of a child running around this house has been haunting me for a long while…if you ever were to consider…”

He brings his hands up to lay over Egg’s, purring gently in the dove’s touch…

He perks up, tail starting to wag and hit the side of the dresser. He leans in more and chops happily with a smile. He was so worried for nothing…

"We'll have to take a trip to the spawn fountain then... Hopefully we'll be able to get in. The fountains are heavily guarded within each kingdom. But I wouldn't be shocked if Playground's greatest knight could get us in~!" -> He cooed and gently scratched under Ego's chin, his tail feathers wagging with delight. "So eager to have a young with me! And we aren't even properly married yet!"

“I can get you anywhere you want Birdie. All you have to do is ask…”

He hissed in delight as Egg scratched under his chin. He could feel his tail curl tightly…

"Well I don't think we shall dilly-dally any longer, my love! We've got a cute little infernal to create!"

-> He kisses his beloved before getting up and hugging onto Ego's arm tightly.

"Oh they'll be the cutest little imp ever! The little one will have your good looks after all, pup!"

Oh- he meant now! Alright! He wasn’t exactly expecting to get one now but the sooner the better they say! He thrills happily as he almost tugged the dove out of the house and ready to go!

-> The conductor chirped with delight as the pair made their way out of their estate, his tail feathers wagging with delight!

-> Spawn Fountains were something sacred! There were spawn fountains within each of the four kingdoms, heavily guarded and protected to make sure nothing would happen to them, to protect their purity and make sure they'd be able to properly function and continue to produce the demon kind.

-> And with Ego's status as one of Playground's greatest knights AND a follower of Windforce, the engaged couple were able to get into the spawn fountain area without much trouble!

The light was blinding for him. He didn’t mind though. He never expected this day to really come. He knew he had to say goodbye to his gear but, creating a inphernal of his own with the conductor was something he cherished more…

-> He leans up and presses a kiss onto his lover's lips before holding out his arm and tossing his boombox into the fountain's crystal clear water.

His ears perked up before he nodded and headed over to grab his gear out of the ground. He looked at it for a moment, admiring it one last time before going over to the water and gently letting it sink into it…

-> Clear water shifted, color slowly soaking in, staining it a bold teal and a glittering gold. It swirled and swirled until it slowly stopped, the color draining and going back to being crystal clear once more.

-> The water bubbled only for a moment before spitting the infernals' respective gears back, both of them coming out dry as if they hadn't been tossed into water! The deed was done, now the soon-to-be parents needed to wait.

Ego didn’t have work today. He had to ask off because something has been bothering him for a while now.

He can’t take it running around in his brain like a bunch of wild monkeys. He looked around for Egg, dressed down a little.

-> The dove was seated at his little dresser and mirror combo, humming to himself as he fixed up some of his dreads which had gotten out of whack from work, pulling them tight and slipping his little rings onto them.

The otter was nervous but took a deep breath he walked over and leaned down behind Egg, taking one of the dove’s hands in his own, running his thumb over the backside of it.

He buried his face into his neck and purred…he was supposed to be at work.

“Birdie…”

[dove-conductor]

-> Egg fluffed up a little in surprise and turned his head a little, looking at his fiancé with gentle smile as he squeezes the otter's hands back. "Pup! Aren't you supposed to be working today? Are you feeling alright?"

[captain-of-playground]

“I…took off…there is something I’ve been meaning to ask you and…it’s been running through my head ever since I proposed…”

He looked very nervous and unsure. This must of been on his mind for a long while now…

[dove-conductor]

-> The dove shifts slightly, letting go of Ego's hands and cupping his fiance's face with a gentle coo, leaning up and pressing a kiss onto the space between the otter's eyes. "Oh my love... You know you're free to tell me anything, alright? What's been weighing down on that beautiful mind of yours?" -> He coos again and rubs his cheek affectionately against Ego's.

“My topaz…my imagination of a child running around this house has been haunting me for a long while…if you ever were to consider…”

He brings his hands up to lay over Egg’s, purring gently in the dove’s touch…

“I would love to have a child with you my dear…”

[dove-conductor]

-> Egg's feathers fluff up even more at that. A child? With his beloved knight? His cheeks burn with color! "A child...? Are you sure you really want one with me, my love? A child is a big responsibility after all..." -> He wasn't opposed to the idea, he was just worried...

“I would never have it with anyone else. I want it with you and always you. I would never even consider if not…”

[dove-conductor]

-> Egg blushes more and rests his head against his fiancé's, a couple little chirps escaping him. "Well... If you're sure you'd be able to handle the life of fatherhood... Then I'd be more than happy to have a child with you, my love. I think we'd make quite the cute child together..."

He perks up, tail starting to wag and hit the side of the dresser. He leans in more and chops happily with a smile. He was so worried for nothing…

[dove-conductor]

"We'll have to take a trip to the spawn fountain then... Hopefully we'll be able to get in. The fountains are heavily guarded within each kingdom. But I wouldn't be shocked if Playground's greatest knight could get us in~!" -> He cooed and gently scratched under Ego's chin, his tail feathers wagging with delight. "So eager to have a young with me! And we aren't even properly married yet!"

“I can get you anywhere you want Birdie. All you have to do is ask…”

He hissed in delight as Egg scratched under his chin. He could feel his tail curl tightly…

[dove-conductor]

"Well I don't think we shall dilly-dally any longer, my love! We've got a cute little infernal to create!"

-> He kisses his beloved before getting up and hugging onto Ego's arm tightly.

"Oh they'll be the cutest little imp ever! The little one will have your good looks after all, pup!"

Oh- he meant now! Alright! He wasn’t exactly expecting to get one now but the sooner the better they say! He thrills happily as he almost tugged the dove out of the house and ready to go!

[dove-conductor]

-> The conductor chirped with delight as the pair made their way out of their estate, his tail feathers wagging with delight!

-> Spawn Fountains were something sacred! There were spawn fountains within each of the four kingdoms, heavily guarded and protected to make sure nothing would happen to them, to protect their purity and make sure they'd be able to properly function and continue to produce the demon kind.

-> And with Ego's status as one of Playground's greatest knights AND a follower of Windforce, the engaged couple were able to get into the spawn fountain area without much trouble!

The light was blinding for him. He didn’t mind though. He never expected this day to really come. He knew he had to say goodbye to his gear but, creating a inphernal of his own with the conductor was something he cherished more…

[dove-conductor]

"Our gears will be a little weaker after this... But it'll be worth it, won't it?"

-> The conductor summoned his gear and chirped softly. Egg wasn't one for phighting anyways.

"Are you ready, my love?"

“Yes, more than anything. You?”

He summoned his gear and stuck the blade into the ground before heading over to Egg and holding his face in his hands.

He wanted to make sure that it wasn’t only just him that wanted to do this…

[dove-conductor]

"I am, my love."

-> He leans up and presses a kiss onto his lover's lips before holding out his arm and tossing his boombox into the fountain's crystal clear water.
