Iâve been seeing so many posts about burnout relating to working/studying hard......but burnout from fighting mental illnesses, disabilities, and chronic conditions needs to be talked about more. When you struggle with these things, you fight so many invisible battles a day that you donât even realize youâre burnt out. You donât have to be studying or working or âoN tHe gRiNdâ to be burnt out. Being strong every day is the most grueling and exhausting kind of work. Please know that you are valid, even if you canât get up and work/study. You are having to learn a curriculum that school doesnât teach, and Iâm so proud of you <33

school uniforms shouldnât be mandatory
IF they are mandatory, they MUST be free. In this way, everyone has the same quality of clothing and no one âlooks poorâ. If the idea behind uniforms is to make everyone the same and stop clothing based conflict, the uniforms have to be free, itâs the only way to justify them.
When I was in elementary school with uniforms, you could always tell which kids had money because they had all the optional uniform âaccessories.â So even if it was theoretically about looking the same, there was still a hierarchy to it.
schools that make uniforms mandatory and also make you pay for them are just looking for a cash grab

soft reminder: youâre alive. you survived the worst nights youâve ever experienced. you picked yourself up when you were at rock bottom. you made it through the worst relapses, loneliness, heartbreak, failure and darkness in your life. when you wanted to disappear you stayed, time and time again. you can make it through anything. you will get through this too.
