It seems like a second occurrence that I have disappeared for quite some time, though this second time was not as long as the last.
I do have to offer my apologies to the audience for any lack of appearance. Further apologies for any lack of reason for my disappearance other than personal issues. You know, wife and kids to take care of, saving the world, all of those sorts.
Sadly, I have not come back with any good news, either. It pains me to say that this blog will no longer be running. It seems quite rude of me to suddenly go quiet and to return with nothing but a permanent leave.
My time on here, as short as it may have been, has been the one of the most memorable for me nonetheless. It was enthralling to hear all the questions my wonderful audience had for me, and it was quite enjoyable to answer all of you. Though some questions were rather…
Cough Besides that, I had a wonderful time while on this blog and will definitely continue on with my thrilling shows despite leaving behind this quaint site. The show must go on, after all!

((Heya, guys! It’s Rhys here, the mod behind the ask blog. OTL I really… have no solid reason for why I suddenly disappeared from this blog?? I really had just forgotten about it and was never motivated to return and continue the blog O)-( Now with school, college applications, and my recent SAT test, I’ve completely drained. I felt like I had to make a proper good-bye before I officially left the blog. Of course, I’ll leave it up so anyone who feels like looking through it again can if they want to. 8′)
I’ve also just… moved on a bit from this blog and the DetCo fandom? Of course, I still do love the series and I’m keeping up with the manga (The anime is… a different story.), but I am currently focusing on some other franchises, mainly Persona 5 and Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan. 8/) P5 is all the rage now and I’ve been caught up in its currents. OTL Oops
Who knows, though, maybe I’ll come back to Tumblr and start a new ask blog for another series? ;) But other than that, it was nice being on Tumblr for this short time lmFao I won’t be too active on it anymore, however.
I had a lot of fun while I was here, and I met a lot of new friends and people. 8′> I’m sad to say that I’ll be leaving, but I’ve been moving on, and I’ve already died from this blog OTL

Eh, perhaps Kid didn't feel like there were any other options at the time... you certainly didn't make the best choice when the 'incident' happened. He couldve beem throwm into the thoevery. Perhaps he wanted to go to someone but couldn't... maybe he's protecting someone, it's obvious he's not he original KID. Maybe the original KID was someone very close him and he does what he does to deceive his predecessors enemies and protect his family... just a theory though, or is it? You never know...

Kaito chose being KID. He literally had the choice to just bail w Jii and never speak of this again. He decides to BECOME KID to figure out what happened to his dad.

He had many many other options, and he knew it, but he chose to be KID and then slowly climbed the learning slope w Jii’s help on what to actually do.

His motive is revenge. He hasn’t been trying to protect anyone either except shielding Aoko from the truth (and her dad).

He can literally just get evidence of there being foul play in Toichi’s death from making Snake ramble (and record it) then turn it in to Nakamori to get the case reopened. It pulls the cat out of the bag about what he has done as well as his father, but honestly considering what he has actually done he’s likely to get off very very easy.

He does things like he’s doing them because he feels it’s the only way he can do it while taking active part in the pursuit and defeat of the men who killed his father. Aka: vengance.

Honestly please stop trying to inject meta. It’s very tiring to deal with people trying to spill the entire plot of MK to Conan when he has literally nothing to do with KID and you’re better off telling this to, idk, Hakuba or Nakamori. Who actively work this case. If there’s anything I dislike is meta injection of facts from ‘unknown sources’ for the sake of… anything, really.

Kaito is honestly putting his family(as in himself and his mom) out in the woods by pretending to be his dead dad, out of the baddies already knowing his real identity. They may buy that Toichi ‘faked his death’, but it wouldn’t be beyond them to try kidnapping for bait. He kind of put himself and his mom on the chopping block in case Snake decides to go for that strategy.

Conan’s choices at the beginning were not his own, but Agasa’s, including living with the Mouris and lying to Ran. It’s a completely different situation.
