It’s a movie about family that never hesitates to remind you that a family’s love shouldn’t be conditional and they need to accept and support you

Matriarchy

Starts with “woman and child abandoned by deadbeat dad” and instead of cutting off the backstory there, the story cheerfully goes “well she rolled up her sleeves and opened a business and did dang well for herself”

The songs are RAD

Shows you don’t have to forgive someone in order to show them kindness

Will genuinely make you feel better about death

Tender portrayal of dementia (in a childrens movie!!)

Skeleton in suspenders

It’s really fun to watch skeletons move around in clothes in general
