Listening to Calum's album and Michael's single has me thinking about how 5SOS members as strong and expressive individual artists is not new. We had Luke and Ashton's independent projects a few years ago and got a taste of what music means individually, BUT having all 4 now really highlights what they each bring to albums. I can tell now which songs are stronger in different members styles and I think that emphasizes how flawlessly they blend their styles.

every year without fail i have zero knowledge of the dates of the super bowl and then when i go to a grocery store i’m greeted by big convenient displays of guacamole ingredients and hot wing shit and i’m just like ‘oh boy! it’s like they read my mind that i love eating delicious party snacks as meals’ and then i put them in my basket and i buy them and then the fact that the super bowl is a thing and also the reason why they made those displays only dawns on me when i get home and am putting my avocados in my fruit bowl
