I’ve been fiddling around with these two hair retextures and trying to work out if they are worth pursuing.

The first is Modish Kitten’s Cloud Puff redone using the textures from Trapping’s 3t2 Wildfire. I’m pretty happy with how the textures look on this one and I will finish it off for myself, just not sure if anyone else would want it and therefore what colour actions I should run.

The second is an adapted retexure of Trapping’s City Side Braids using the very fine work of @vakna-vera-hugsa-simblr just replacing the twists texture with the Wildfire texture. I can’t decide whether I should leave as is, or replace the ponytail texture too. I’d probably have a play around the the alpha on the ponytail either way. But what do you think?

It has always bugged me that some of the Life Stories tile floors didn’t have matching walls. Especially when half of the Tiny Tiles floors did, EA is lazy! So here are those other 3 Tiny Tile floors made into walls, as well as the 4 Mix N Match Tile floors. They were made using 256 x 768 size textures, so I’m not sure if they will work on Macs or not.

Last up here is a recreation of the Road to Nowhere Gas Station I built for my Strangetown. I have used most of the same CC, there are just a few bits I missed out like the original outside flooring. In order for this lot to show up as in the photos there are a few bits you’ll need to pick up over at the Yeti Chalet. These are all links to the pages you can find the items on, as @shastakiss deserves full credit for all her gorgeous work.

In order for the lot of appear as it does in my game, you may also like to download MogHughson’s Decorative parking spaces, which you will need to place on either side of the petrol pumps. I use CuriousB’s road defaults which come with rugs for covering the road on lot and the concrete floor I used outside in the original.

Part two of this Follower’s Gift is another lot, also built to use Curious B’s 3t2 of the BahHaus store set. The CFE cheat was also utilised on this lot, there are a couple of walls around the garage that are a bit wonky but functional. This lot also uses Life Stories walls and floors, so do make sure you download the build bundle linked in the previous post. Otherwise all the other CC should be included.

Downstairs there is a double garage with internal access, a small bathroom, a study, a large open area meant to be used as a TV room. Through the arch you find another living area with a fireplace, and then through another arch there is the kitchen. Outside there are several terraces. Upstairs we have a master suite with it’s own lobby area, and then four other bedrooms each with an ensuite.

Here’s another Follower’s Gift, in the form of another house.

This was built using the CFE cheat, so there are walls you should only use plain or vertically patterned wall textures on. I believe I did use some extracted Life Stories walls and possibly floors, so make sure you have the build bundle from here. Otherwise all the CC used should be included, other than the stair wall fix from here. And the Pirate wood recolours from here.

So this is a mostly open plan modern house, built specifically to use CuriousB’s 3t2 conversions of the BahHaus set from the Sims 3 store. Downstairs there is a large open plan living space, with sections for kitchen, dining and two living room areas. There is also a separate study and gym/downstairs bedroom with a small bathroom. Also a double garage, with internal access. Upstairs we have a master suite, and four more bedrooms, two which have their own ensuites.

Follower’s Gift 4 (and 4.5)

This is another house I’d built originally in The Sims 3, this time in Isla Paradiso. Again I think it might work nice on the Monty side of Veronaville. It’s again mostly CC free, and it shouldall be included.

This house comes in two versions, a 2 storey house or a 3 storey house. Basically I’d built the TS3 version on a fairly small lot, so the only way to expand was up. Whilst I haven’t playtested the houses in TS2, they worked well with a 7 Sim household in TS3 and that game has some routing issues!

Follower’s Gift 3

This is a house I built in the Sims 3 and thought I’d recreate it for TS2. It was built to fit in Monte Vista, so it would probably look nice in the Monty side of Veronaville.

It’s mostly cc free, I think it’s just the wood floor, outside stairs and inside stair recolours that are custom content. All should be included if I’ve done this right!

Follower’s Gift 2

Another lot built using Honeywell’s Bespoke Set, this time an update of Pleasantview’s 210 Wright Way. Again I think I forgot to use the master object so get the set here. This time I used Rowboat and Prussian Blue for the doors, windows, porch and trim.

Follower’s Gift 1

A House built using Halliwell Manor as a major reference. It’s built primarily using Honeywell’s lovely Bespoke Set. This is my first time sharing lots and I think I’ve cleaned them up properly so you shouldn’t get 10 million unnecessary recolours. However I have a horrible feeling I didn’t include the Bespoke Set master object, so go here to download the set if you don’t have it. I used Purple and Bright White for the doors, windows, porch and trim. The stairs are Twig and Bright White.

So I woke up to a huge amount of activity on this blog and it so totally made my month! I just wanted to say thank you to the creators who’ve been making defaults out of my cc, to the creators who drew attention to my work whilst sharing their own and to the CC sharing blogs who reblogged so many of my posts, as well as to everyone who liked those posts and downloaded my content.

I am not the most active creator, I have a not small amount of unfinished work which I have just not been finding the motivation to get done but today I got such an energy boost from you all. It is so nice to feel like what I do has value, and it’s something I’ve been really struggling with lately as my disability really prevents me from doing a lot. So thank you all <3

I’m up to over 1500 downloads on SFS, which is just amazing to me. I guess I should think about making something to say thank you to you all. I have a few things I’d like to do, there are some fences I’d like to recolour, a couple of hairs I’d like to retexture. Maybe a lot or two to share, although I’d need to work out if I want to do cc-free (or if I’m even capable of that now!) Anyways thank you for the downloads and the hearts, they are all appreciated.

I just uploaded this over at Garden of Shadows for the monthly theme but I felt like sharing is here too. Mods let me know if that’s not ok and I’ll take it down until next month.

This is a bottom for both AF and TF on a mesh that Skell separated from afbodytrackdance. The original recolour was done by Amaryll as a full body outfit. It’s set as everyday and athletic. Please read Skell’s Respository FAQ to work out the best place to install the mesh file, the recolours just go in your downloads folder.

Follower’s gift as I’m now at almost 90 if you combine my two Simblrs, and at over 1200 downloads over at SFS! So thank you all, it means the world to me that people like what I make.

Bit of a mixed bit for you at this early hour of the morning (I should never take preview pics after 10pm because here I am uploading after 1.30am).

First up we have some recolours (or clones rather since it’s a fence) of the fantastic Leefish’s “Bricks and Railings” fence. They come in 7 brick textures from the game and I’m really pleased with them.

Second up we have Mork Mork’s Maxis Match jean textures applied to two children’s jeans. The first is Fakepeeps7′s child conversion of Yuxi’s Slim Jeans with Hiking Boots for CU. The second is Yuichen’s “Outside the Lines” skinny jeans with flats for CF. No swatches but if you’re curious it’s the same textures as these. The ones with boots don’t have the light jean texture. The jeans are categorized as everyday and outerwear. Meshes included (I know this is not exactly fakepeeps07′s policy but they’ve been inactive for two years and the mesh is only available in a file with the recolours too).

I’ve made some new walls, inspired by the pretty masonry I saw in Cheltenham today. They are recolours of some walls @shastakiss made, which I use all the time. I love that you can use them over multiple storeys or mix and match with other walls. But they only came in three colours, but not any more!

Now they come in six shades, Shasta’s Snow and Magnolia, Curiousb’s Dove, Milk and Oyster and Pooklet’s Mailbomb. There are 4 walls in each colour, one with the crown and base, one with just the crown, one with just the base and one that has neither.

Here’s a little early Christmas present for your Sim men and boys! MorkMork’s Maxis Match jean textures on Yuxi’s ‘So Long, So Lonesome’ skinny jeans with low Converse for both AM and TM.

The meshes have fat morphs, as modelled by the teen in the orange sleeveless jumper. The pictures were taken before I deleted the bumpmaps, so they do look a little different but it was an improvement. The awkwardly dressed Bodyshop pics are to show that the waistlines look good, which they should after I faffed with alphas for hours! Enjoy!
