Sixty years going nowhere Pontiac Banshee XP-798, 1966. A four-seater "Mustang-fighter" concept car developed under John Z. DeLorean, featuring a 421ci V8 engine, four-wheel independent suspension, and unique double-hinged doors with opening roof panels. Intended to compete with European GTs and the Ford Mustang, it was cancelled by GM management to protect Corvette sales and make room for the Camaro/Firebird.

The rich reds in a patchwork carpet made from kilim remnants led to the selection of tile in this bathroom. The smooth, precise cut of this machine-made tile allowed for minimal grout. The predominant tile is from Hastings Tile Company. The small unglazed tile in the shower is from American Olean.
