Bleary eyed and half asleep, he slowly sat up, curled on the couch. Though he’d panicked at first, her leaving like this was not exactly unexpected, though he hated it. It had happened before; after a few hours, he had relaxed and resigned himself to his fate.

The door opened, and he jolted the rest of the way up - promptly falling off of the couch. “Elsa!” He yelped, eyes brightening. “You’re back!”  His expression, however, faltered quickly. “It wasn’t anything too bad, was it? I mean, you were gone a while.” He was rambling now, simply too excited to shut his mouth for more than thirty seconds.

"Bucky!" The blonde leaped down and landed on her knees beside the fallen man, pallid arms coiling around him and hugging him tightly. "Not too bad, no." She allowed herself to chuckle quite loudly. "Sometimes I'm convinced Anna needs my help to open a can of corn. But I know she's capable of quite a lot."

"Can't say I didn't miss our small little house either, it almost felt strange to be back in such a huge palace. Almost too much to explore at a time. She's had a lot of renovating done since we begun living together. The inside is hardly recognizable now."

Elsa released a pleased sigh and simply allowed herself to stare at him for a while, a long while, really. It must have been months. And as they say; Absence makes the hard grow fonder. And fonder is exactly how she was feeling.
