Hellooo may I request angst hcs for Kidomaru having to witness his s/o die in his arms after trying to protect him? Thank you!
Oh my gosh yess I have been craving to write some angst for a while now!!!
Kidomaru's S/O dying in his arms
In all of his life all he ever wanted was someone who genuinely loved him and did not fear of who he is. And that person was his S/O, they were the love of his life and the only person to bring light into his life.
Unfortunately for him that light would be dimmed far too soon for Kidomaru's liking. He always promised them he would protect them and keep them safe from any harm.
But unfortunately fate played a dirty trick on Kidomaru, one that would leave him all alone once again. It all happened so fast and Kidomaru couldn't even react in time, and before he knew it his S/O was in front of him taking a blow that was directed at him.
Everything went in slow motion for him after that, how their body fell to the ground, how he killed the attacker in mere seconds before running to pick up his S/O in his arms.
Kidomaru was an absolute mess, he was crying and apologizing to them, desperately begging them to stay awake. But it all was in vain as they gathered the last of their energy to tell Kidomaru how much they love him and passed away in his arms. Leaving Kidomaru alone once more, but this time the loneliness would hurt even more.
Because how could he go back to being by himself when he had been loved by someone as wonderful as them? In fact, he couldn't even fathom a life without them, fate had ripped them right out of his life like some sort of twisted punishment which he had to endure for the rest of his life.
A life that would go on with the guilt of many broken promises he made to them, especially on how he vowed to protect them and in the end he end he failed at that, paying with their life for his mistake.
