This is for @youtube-isnotonfire for the @dpsficexchange! The request was: “Neil being so excited and trying to get Charlie excited about Shakespeare. How their exchanges for the next week go of Neil trying to infect Charlie with Shakespeare and whether or not Charlie determines at the end of the week that Shakespeare is worth it.“

Charlie blamed Mr. Keating. No matter how funny, smart, and generally awesome Mr. Keating was, Charlie blamed him for this – Neil’s new obsession with Shakespeare.

I really do love fic exchanges, secret santas, etc when I have time for them. This one is for @makeyourlivesextraordinary from @guccimetti over at cer writing blog. The prompt was “ anderperry: the soulmate au where your soulmates last words are tattooed on their arm and Neil says the last words he says to Todd and Todd recognizes those words and gets Neil to talk to him, saving his life.”

word count: ~2,131

summary: Todd Anderson had wrapped the arm his soulmark is on in bandages the moment his soulmark started coming in. Today, he rips the bandages off.

People have been assigned randomly and prompts have been distributed! If you have any general questions, send them to me and if you have any questions for your person about their prompt, message them and I’m sure they’ll clarify!!! I can also help with betaing or give advice if anyone needs it!

I only need one more prompt left and then I can start assigning people for the fic Exchange! We need to clarify a couple things: 1. Do we just want to submit fics via Tumblr or post on ao3 or a different option? 2. It was pretty much unanimous that the minimum word count be 1,000 words so every fic needs to be at least 1,000 3. We are using the rest of July to finalize details and we will start August 1st and have a month to finish fics. That means September 1st will be the due date! All fics must be completed and given to your assigned person by then! (If you want to start as soon as you get your prompt for extra time, that's absolutely fine!) Questions? Comments? Concerns? Message me or send me an ask and I'll answer/address them!

Hi friends! I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on what the timeline should be for the exchange?

So far, the general consensus seems to be a 1,000 minimum word count. If you have ideas for what you want your prompt to be, you can start sending them my way! I will keep track of them so when it comes time for the exchange, I can tell the person who has you what you want!
