I wish I could chuckle at this but it hits me in an odd way. I’m a Christian who is aware that our religion can from Judaism and I’ve tried to be respectful of everyone’s beliefs. Not sure why this post makes me feel mocked.

I mean, you kind of are. More specifically, the post is mocking how Christians and culturally Christian people often talk about other religions and cultures, specifically Judaism in this case.

Just because you personally do your best doesn't mean you don't sometimes do these things, or that you don't still have a hell of a lot of privilege in the west. If it makes you uncomfortable, maybe ask yourself if you feel mocked or uncomfortable bc you don't like seeing your religion and culture so casually portrayed inaccurately and only in the context of another culture's interaction with it, and consider that's how a lot of other religions and cultures - specifically Judaism in this case - are treated and portrayed by the cultural Christian majority in the west.

Or maybe you feel mocked bc you've said some of these things with good intentions and you don't like having proof that your intentions don't make those things automatically okay and not hurtful.

You were supposed to feel uncomfortable. That was the point. Consider that.
