i've talked abt this a bit in some hcs i've written, but i think it's so annoying when people just dogpile a bunch of horrible shit that they think cal and andre would do and be apart of (sa, pedophilia) JUST because they're both canonically bad people, or because they think it's hot or whatever.

then if you call it out, the same people get all defensive like, "oh, you can excuse mass murder, but you draw the line at rape??" like. yeah man. obviously they're both terrible, but they're really not comparable, especially if you're just throwing it in for the sake of edginess or perceived depth.

and aside from it being blatantly gross and insensitive, it's also just lazy characterization. just because a character isn't a good person doesn't mean they have to do every bad thing ever
