If Cole’s suggestion came a month ago, she’d decline it without hesitating. She loved being on stage, but after the shooting…that place wasn’t safe anymore. So now that proposal was a really good one. Maybe that way they could actually start looking to get their family to grow. “I want to be sincere with you, babe…”she started saying. “Before the shooting…I’d say no…but that event changed my perspective 360 degrees. Only issue is…where is Lilly going to stay while we are gone?”

Cole knew that she wouldn’t have been down to do this before the shooting, so it didn’t surprise him when she said that. She is very driven, and he loves that about her, but this has given us the chance to slow down and smell the roses. “I wouldn’t want to get a random sitter, I was thinking I could maybe ask Lacy? She’s really cool and she has a dog too so she would have a friend.”

Elizabeth nodded and took a seat in front of his desk. “I was shot near the tailbone. I did fall but then all I remember is waking up on a hospital bed. That’s all I know and remember…I’m fully recovered…physically” she informed him.

Cole read her paperwork from the nurse, so he knew that she was in a good physical shape. “So, we are just doing a check up to make sure that there aren’t any surprises.... but if there's anything else you want to talk about...” he said, before taking a seat.

He was her home, he and Lilly was all she wanted now, she knew holding her career back wasn’t good for her, but she has been suffering every time she got into the club. Maybe it was time to focus on something else than singing for now. A sincere smile showed up her face as she looked up at him. Maybe their relationship was rushed, but it never felt more right for them. “Okay…I’m really curious now” she said smiling as she felt the warmth of his hand on hers. “So…what is on your mind, baby?” 

Cole took a moment to just look at her and appreciate what he has. “So, I’ve been thinking,” he said, hoping that she would be on the same page as him right now. “We should take a little vacation from life... I’m thinking a week... somewhere tropical where we don’t have to have a care in the world...”

Emma has been scared to venture again to Dark Secrets since the shooting happened, but she always shook off those feelings and ventured on stage, though the eagerness she had to return home was not only to see her boyfriend and Lilly, it was also to get that feeling of security, of being safe again. The thoughts she had on her head, constantly, the reminder that set her alarm on, was always when she went to the club, a place she used to feel like home. She could have lost Cole and that feeling was making her heart ache every time she remembered it.

So once her performance was done, she didn’t care of change her clothes, she run away from the place she once loved and drove to her house. Once she pulled into the driveway and walked towards the door, a wide and happy smile showed up her face as she saw her boyfriend at the frame door. “I missed you, baby” she said throwing herself into a hug. She didn’t care if neighbors watched…it was pure happiness and she didn’t mind of letting everyone know.

There was a part of Cole that was a little nervous everytime she left to go to work. There was this small panick in the back of his mind that knew there was always a chance that she might not come home, and it scared the shit out of him. He couldn’t be there to watch her every second of the day, and he knew that, so he needed to keep himself a step back and just know that every day with her means the world. 

“I missed you the second you walked out the door,” he said, with a light smile. “So there’s something I’ve been thinking about, and I thought we could talk about it over dinner,” he suggested, as he took her hand and lead her over to the table.

“There was a shooting….of course things will change” she said towards Cole. She has seen him frequently at the club and she got used to his face around. “I was hurt…I’m hoping you can check my wounds?”

“Of course, why don’t you take a seat and run me through what happened to you specifically,” Cole said, as he gestured towards the chairs. “Were you shot? Did you fall from the injury? Do you remember if you might have hit your head?”

Cole + Emma

Cole was always happy with his little family, but he was extremely greatful after the incident last month. It was still hard to think that he coud have just lost everything after finally building a life he was happy with. He tried to shake the thought, as he mashed the potatoes on the stove. I can’t wait to see you. He put his phone down, after texting Emma. He normally goes to her sets, but he thought it might be nice for him to make her a nice home made dinner to come home to. 

When he heard the sound of her pulling into the driveway, he started plating the mashed potatoes and baked salmon. He was able to put the plates out with enough time to walk to the door and open it for her before she even had a chance to get out her keys. “Welcome home, beautiful.”

“I have to admite it’s quite the change in dinamic here... I’m used to seeing you at the bar,” Cole said, with a light tone, as he looked up from his clip board.

When Cole went in to Dark Secrets a few months back he never imagined how much it would give him. Right now he has the most important thing to him lying next to him in this bed that he never wanted to be empty again. “The sun is going down, we should probably start getting ready for this party if we don’t want to miss out on the action,” he said, as he ran his fingers through her hair.

“I would pay to watch that!”Alexxis exclaimed with a smile. She sighed and looked at the handsome man “Ugh, I like women legs and everything, but it is too much for me right now” she said and rubbed her own legs as she spoke. 

“What are you having ?” she said looking at the male´s glass curiously. She always wanted to drink new things. 

“How much do you think they would charge because we might be able to put this together after they all get a few more drinks in them,” Cole said, with a laugh. When she asked about his drink he gave her a light smile, “Scotch on the rocks, this one is Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, so if you like scotch this is one of the best you’re going to get.”

Jessie made her way into the club, taking in all the costumes and everything around her. She smiled softly to herself before she walked over to the bar and ordered herself a drink, humming mostly to herself, “I am always blown away about how amazing and how much effort they put into doing this stuff, I shouldn’t be, but they continue to knock the ball out of the park every single time,” she admitted.

“Mm… sporty spice, maybe?” She asked thinking about it, “I know she looks good when she goes to the gym so it could work,” she giggled softly, “posh spice? I mean don’t get me wrong it’s a good idea but I don’t know if I see her as posh spice, you could be David beckham and that would look good on you,” she admitted.

“Which one do you see her as?” he asked, with a small chuckle. He didn’t know much about the spice girls, he just knew what he remembered seeing in the one video. “But I can see sporty spice, she would really rock it.”

Lacey was running late. It was a Halloween party and she wanted to get her makeup right so of course she followed a tutorial and made sure her hair looked perfect and ‘suited’ the theme. She was rushing into the club only to bump into someone, harder than she intended, “shit!” She cursed, “I am so sorry!” She chewed her lip looking at the person she had bumped into, “are you alright?” She asked genuinely feeling bad that she had both embarrassed herself and ran into someone without realising before it was too late.

“I won’t, I just hope the right guy comes along at… some point,” she admitted shaking her head slowly, chewing her lip, “I’m sorry you had to go through that, can’t have been easy,” she admitted softly.

“It wasn’t, but it was all worth it... If I could go back and I knew that Emma was my light at the end of the tunnel I wouldn’t even hesitate to go through it all again.”

“I’d probably come as baby spice because she was always my favourite spice girl from that pop group, she was the baby of the group and I’m the youngest sibling,” she admitted. “That would be cool though, I love couples costumes,” she said.

“Well, your girl could be another spice... honestly I’m sure you could have easily gotten a badass group together for that. If Emma did it I would hope she would go with Posh because that would be epic,” he said, with a small chuckle.

Alexxis looked at the guy and smiled. It was the cutie who was dating Emma, so she followed his words. “Totally, it would have been very on hands experience” she nodded and sighed. “You are so lucky you are not in high heels, I totally envy you right now” she added. 

Cole couldn’t help but laugh. “I mean, the dancers could do thriller, it would be epic,” he added, playfully. When she mentioned the heals he cringed just thinking about it. “Yeah, I’ve always been grateful that guys aren’t expected to care about having hot legs.”

“I’ve never really done a period piece before today, I was thinking I would do something fun and classic like a vampire or if Emma wanted to do a couples costume we could do little red and the wolf or Bugs and Lola Bunny.”

“They must be,” she agreed teasingly although she didn’t believe it, “and thanks,” she smiled softly before she shook her head, “no, not really,” she admitted softly, shrugging a little, “I mean there’s guys here and there I have fun with but nothing serious,” she admitted.

“I’m serious Lacey, someone is going to sweep you off your feet and you’re going to know that the wait was worth it,” Cole said with a light tone, “and if it doesn’t go well then I’ll have to punch him.”

“If this party wasn’t themed what costume do you think you would be wearing this year?” Cole asked, trying to put together more about her.
