@dr-gijinka
Enoch came up from his lab, dabbing his nose with a tissue. How dare he get sick when there was so much work to be done! He had not even gotten his hands on a single Gijinka yet!
//phew! Sorry everyone, Enoch-Mun must head to bed! I will finish replies and greetings in the morning! Have a safe night everyone!
Three People have Entered the Lab!
"Um….I was just wondering what was here, is all. Sorry if I bothered you." He wasn’t sure why he got a bad vibe coming from the place, which was what sparked his curiosity. He chose not to mention that, though.
"You didn't bother me at all. I am always happy to meet curious Trainers. By the Pokeballs on your belt, I assume you are a trainer, correct?" He chuckled lightly, "There isn't much here but prototype displays, and research notes. I don't tend to leave the dangerous stuff out in the open. I hope that answered your question?"
Three People have Entered the Lab!
→ “I guess that’s the modern and Japanese way to describe anthropomorphism for Pokemon. I don’t know why do people get fascinated with that since this is as old as our species in general, but whatever. Yeah, I am one. Why do you care.”
"I'm not surprised it would be a foreign concept, but humans in general are a very curious species. Many humans fear the unknown, and it's that fear that drives their curiosity, and fascination, to discover everything. It's that fear that makes mankind so fascinated with Gijinkas, such as yourself." Enoch stated with a smug smile. He adjusted his glasses again, "I for one, am interested in Gijinkas not out of fear, but as a Scientist, the drive to learn about the unknown is almost too hard to control."
"Besides, have you never imagined what the world would be like if Gijinka's lived among humans, like their full Pokemon counterparts, instead of apart from them? I am studying ways to make that vision a reality."
A Dozen People have Entered the Lab!
"Might I remind you, it’s rude to stare, monsieur.” Although, Yveltal is one to talk, tending to stare at people himself. Though, more often than not, he leans in close to people with little to no sense for their personal space. Not that he’s going to do it here. This one is a human. A mortal being. One who has given Yveltal no reason to be interested. The only reason he’s spoken is because he’s not pleased with being stared at so intently.
"Qu’est-ce que vous voulez?” The french is shot off with a slight smirk. He’s aware that not everyone understands what it means. And he’s hoping it ends up confusing his little mortal viewer.
"My apologies sir. I did not realize I was staring. Must be too many hours in the lab." He chuckled and rubbed the back of his head, "Ah but... forgive me, I don't speak Kalosian very well."
He grinned slyly. He had a good feeling about this one... Was this a Gijinka as well? It seemed like a powerful one though, if it was. If he wanted this one for his research, he'd have to resort to his wit. Too bad he was a Lab Shut-In, and communication was not an activity he was especially good at.
He held a hand out towards the other, "My name is Professor Enoch Bannister, from the Unovan Institute of Science. Do you mind if I ask for your name? You look familiar to someone I might know?"
shou tucker as a FC
i’m sure this muse is an A++++ human being right dr-gijinka?
//this man is as terriblly great as they come!
"Oh, hello, professor. We haven’t met yet, right? My name is Cynthia, and I’m currently investigating Gijinkas, just like you. At least, that’s what I heard…”
"…Can I ask which are your goals? Why are you investigating them?”
"Ah! Greetings Cynthia!" Enoch replied with a light chuckle, "I am honored you've even heard about my research!"
He pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose, "You wish to know my goals? That's simple. To 'improve' relations between Gijinkas and Humans, or more so, learn exactly where Gijinka's sit with society - whether they are closer to Pokemon, or closer to Humans."
He wasn't exactly lying, just stretching the truth a bit. He didn't quite know Cynthia's angle yet, but he was eager to find out where her thoughts lay on the subject.
"I am glad to meet another researcher studying the subject. I would be happy to share notes on the subject with you?"
Three People have Entered the Lab!
→ Giratina’s eyes twitched in response, analyzing that guy carefully up and down. Something looked fishy, but he couldn’t really place a finger on it. Perhaps it was his own paranoia acting up again, but no matter. “I already don’t like you.” He muttered. “The name’s Giratina.”
"I apologize, I did not mean to make a bad impression." The grin on Enoch's face broadened, "Your name is Giratina? As in, the Pokemon Giratina? Excellent!"
"Say... Mr. Giratina, I don't wish to intrude on your personal life, but if you would be so kind... you wouldn't happen to be a... Gijinka would you?"
A Dozen People have Entered the Lab!
There were more people then he could possible greet all at once... so many young trainers... so many Gijinka! Maybe it was possible to 'convince' one of them to help him in his research?
There was so many to choose from, there must be one that he could get to help the betterment of mankind?
“Huh…nice to meet you, Professor,” said Music, nodding. “And yeah, I use Pokeballs. I don’t use them very often for reasons I don’t particularly need to delve into right now, but I do use them.” “Why, did you need a Trainer for something?”
"No, no!" Enoch laughed, and waved his hand dismissively, "We don’t need any trainers, unless your a Trainer that knows a Gijinka who can help us with our research! I’m more interested on you’re take on Pokeballs! After all, I spent years researching them, and a certain Pokeball Design is a side project of mine! If you don’t mind, Mr. Music, would you mind telling me about your experiences with Pokeballs, and what you liked, or more so, what you disliked about them? I am very curious to know."
Three People have Entered the Lab!
"Uhh…" Logan looked around the room a little. "I guess, what’s the place for? What do you do here?"
"Well! I'm glad you asked!" Enoch chuckled. He gestured over at the various displays and contraptions throughout the Lab, "Until recently, our Lab focused on studying Pokeballs, and trying to find ways to make them more, 'user friendly', but a few years ago, we passed that work on to a Pokeball Factory in Kalos, and now we are focusing our work on a phenominum known as 'Gijinkas'!"
Three People have Entered the Lab!
"Uh… nothing, really, just curious, I guess?"
"There is nothing wrong with that! Nothing wrong at all! In fact, curiosity is very healthy! But, that might be the scientist in me talking!" Enoch chuckled, "Well, is there anything particular you are curious about? I'd be happy to help?"
Two People have Entered the Lab!
"Institute of…Science?" Music blinked. He’d never heard of such an Institute…then again, he supposed he hadn’t been too interested in pursuing higher education in recent times. Science was more Sabine and Shugo’s area of expertise, anyway.
He nodded in response to the man’s inquiry. “Yeah, I’m a Trainer. Name’s Music.”
"Music huh? Well I am glad you stopped by! It's not often a Trainer comes to visit!" He twirled his wrist in front of him, "My name is Professor Enoch Bannister, and until recently, we focused on studying Pokeballs, and finding ways to make them more... 'user friendly', though our research has changed in recent years. If you're a trainer, that must mean you use Pokeballs, correct?"
Three People have Entered the Lab!
→ “Kids?” Giratina asked, folding his arms across his chest. “I’d watch your mouth if I were you, idiot.”
Enoch chuckled and adjusted his glasses, "My apologies, I meant no offense. When you get as old as I am, everyone looks young."
He grinned. Perfect! He thought, Just who I wanted to speak with.
Enoch clapped his hands, "But where are my manners? I am Professor Enoch Bannister, of the Unovan Institute of Science! How can I help you today, Mr...er?"
Two People have Entered the Lab!
Music’s eyebrow twitched slightly. Truth be told, he had wandered into the Lab quite on accident, but he wasn’t appreciating being called a child. He was 23, dammit!
Oh well. He had other questions.
"Uh…Not sure, exactly," Music said, looking around the laboratory. "Not even sure what this place is, even. Looks kinda like Birch and Juniper’s labs, but at the same time…."
Enoch grinned and clapped his hands, "Well! I'm glad you asked! You are currently in one of the Research Laboratories within the Institute of Science, my Laboratory to be correct!"
"If you've seen Professor Birth, and Professor Juniper's Labs, I believe it's safe to assume you are a Trainer, correct?"
