-- DAY 4 - 10:25 -- Oh, and another thing, I wish these satellites would stop breaking so much. I get that this is all decades old (1970s?), but like, how long until a satellite just goes out permanently? I'm starting to think Sierra might be getting there, honestly, I don't know what's up with it. It keeps breaking somehow? I go and try to fix the server, but the server seems fine, so I just calibrate it and hope it starts working again. I sincerely hope nothing out here breaks 'cause I have no idea how the hell I'm gonna tell my bosses. Oh, also, I'm in a worse mood now than I was, 'cause I don't know if I just misplaced my food or if I accidentally left the fridge open and the bugs got to it or what, 'cause all the food in my fridge is gone. Luckily, I have plenty of MREs and some other food stored in other containers, but that still sucks. I was looking forward to that banana.

-- DAY 4 - 07:58 -- Overall, I have to say I'm settling in faster than I expected I would when I first arrived here. It's chill, if a bit lonely, but I guess that's why I have this, and everyone who reads this. The atmosphere's nice. There was a meteor shower a while back and it was absolutely beautiful. I'm starting to think my unease with this place is just due to me being unfamiliar with it. That being said, I think there are other, I guess, points of interest around this array, and I went through what was in the abandoned offices that was in one of the transformer stations. Didn't find much other than junk, but still, shouldn't there be someone stationed there? To make sure it doesn't blow up or something? Oh, and aside from the credits I'm earning being only barely enough to do my job, it's not that bad living here. I gotta get a better bed, though. Maybe I was wrong about this place.

-- DAY 3 - 16:12 -- Well, I've done some more exploring. Found an abandoned cabin or whatever near one of the satellites, although I didn't go in. Still didn't see any animals, too. Luckily, this forest is pretty peaceful other than that. It's just so fucking dark outside during the night. Oh, speaking of, my sleep is all sorts of fucked up, and I don't know if it's gonna recover soon. I suppose it doesn't matter, I don't have a set amount of hours. Well, I guess I do, but it's 24/7. At least I get to sleep and eat whenever I want, although there's not much to do other than post on here or go outside and drive, and I don't wanna do that too much, 'cause that wastes fuel, and I don't have much money to buy the gas cans. Still, though, I see some messages coming in! So these posts ARE going somewhere that people are seeing! Sorry if I don't get to them immediately, this program is a hassle to work with.

-- DAY 2 - 12:50 -- A FUCKING WHAT? I THOUGHT something was up with this place! I need to do more exploring. I'm almost done with the reports Bao asked me for, maybe I'll go out exploring again after I send the drives off. Then again, I'm tired. I hope that scream from last night wasn't an effect of, like... radiation poisoning or something.

-- DAY 2 - 12:41 -- Well, at least I know this is posting *somewhere*. Even if it seems to be... bug-buying spam? That being said, I *am* gonna take you up on this offer, even if it won't be... for any lizards or fish. I've been getting tired of MREs.

-- DAY 2 - 09:02 -- I went for that drive on the ATV. I found a little lake near server Oscar. (oh, right, all of the servers I've been tasked with maintaining are all named after the phonetic alphabet. It does make me feel cool, thanks for asking) It's got sand, it got some plants. It was honestly pretty nice. I sat there for a while. It was relaxing. I can see myself coming back here a lot. Wish I was here with someone else to share that with, though.

-- DAY 2 - 06:47 -- It might just be because I've been surrounded by concrete and beeping noises for a couple of days, but I'm starting to get really creeped out by this place. I'm gonna take the ATV out for a drive once the sun is up more.

-- DAY 2 - 01:26 -- Also I didn't mention it earlier but what the fuck is with these fucking mannequins? Why are they here? What possible reason could they have for being in an astronomy lab? I've moved them all into the utility room, I don't like them.

-- DAY 2 - 01:19 -- Arriving here at midnight on my first day was probably not the best decision I've ever had. But Dr. Bao gave me my first assignment, so I'm officially on the job. I would go out there to get the codes he wants me to get, but... ...goddamn it's dark out there. Dr. Bao also didn't say anything about outgoing messages from me, so... they must not have noticed. Problem is, I don't think anybody's even seen it, 'cause no one's sent anything back. Maybe my friend pranked me and just gave me a journalling program or something.

-- DAY 1 - 14:59 -- Okay, maybe I was wrong, then? Swore I heard something outside, like a loud screeching. I did see some of those animal noises videos a while back, kinda sounded like those? I checked around the base, though, and I didn't see any tracks or any animals or anything, and the radar isn't showing anything weird. I'm gonna keep an eye on the outside of the base.

-- DAY 1 - 14:32 -- Took some time to explore my surroundings a bit while going out to fix a few servers. I don't think I've seen a single animal anywhere in this forest. Which I guess makes sense, it is fenced off, but it still unnerves me. Then again, the sound of the ATV might just be scaring them off.

-- DAY 1 - 02:27 -- I've been looking around while waiting for the dishes to get a signal, and there are enough MREs around here, you'd think this was a doomsday bunker. They taste okay, and none of them seem to have expired yet, but we're cutting it close. Least I won't starve, though. There are even a couple of things in the fridge, so I guess I can eat those later. Oven doesn't work, though, goddammit. Anyway, I'm gonna go to bed, it's not healthy to be up this late. The signal should hopefully be done uploading by the time I wake up.
