Hello everyone! Since it's August, Art Fight is officially over! The results should be announced on the 12th, if I'm not mistaken.
Here are all of my attacks and revenges from this year's event!
Honestly, I'm a little disappointed in myself—not because Art Fight was bad (quite the opposite, I had a lot of fun!), but because I feel like I could've done more attacks. Part of me wishes I had pushed myself a little harder.
That said, I'm not going to beat myself up over it. This was my very first Art Fight, so I think it was more about learning how everything works and getting to know the community than trying to hit a huge attack count.
I definitely want to join again next year, and hopefully I'll be able to draw even more!
Thank you to everyone who attacked me, revenged my attacks, or simply chatted with me throughout the event. Every single piece I received was absolutely wonderful, and I'm really happy I got to experience Art Fight for the first time.

Hello!! Taking a tiny break from Art Fight to post this piece. It actually started as a traditional drawing that I later redrew digitally, and I'm really proud of how it turned out—especially because I didn't use any references for it.
I'm still doing Art Fight though! My plan is to upload around two attacks every week, so expect those soon.
Anyway... I need to spread fat Jevil propaganda.
I saw fanart of a chubby Jevil on Twitter the other day and something in my brain just clicked. It makes so much sense to me for some reason.
Also, this made me realize how obsessed I used to be with him when Deltarune first came out. I logged into one of my old accounts recently and it was just... Jevil. Everywhere. I even used to self-ship with him LMAO. Maybe still do ~
I guess Art Fight reignited my love for jesters and clowns, so drawing him again felt inevitable.

I totally forgot how much I love drawing Mammon. Since Helluva Boss hasn't updated in a while, he completely left my brain until recently. He's honestly really fun to draw once you figure out his design. The first time I tried drawing him in my sketchbook he looked like a damn pine cone, so I covered that shit up immediately. Then back when I was still in medical school, I randomly doodled him during class and my brain just activated.
Anyways, their relationship is toxic as hell. You can't convince me Mammon would ever be the good guy in... literally any scenario.
My idea is that she started out as his maid before they got together. But, y'know, Mammon is the Sin of Greed—everything has to make him more money somehow. So of course he'd find a way to profit off her. The funny part is that she already had a huge crush on him before she even applied. Well... she didn't really want to apply. Her friends basically bullied her into it because they knew she liked him.
(Also, he's a disgusting pig who definitely doesn't clean after himself, so a maid was probably the best investment he ever made.)
Don't let her innocent looks fool you, though. She's a total stalker and an obsessive little freak. She doesn't care that Mammon treats her horribly because she's so hopelessly in love with him that she'll forgive literally anything. And after she's done working, he always throws her just enough praise to keep her hooked. Every compliment makes her try even harder because she desperately wants his approval.
Oh—and he doesn't even pay her. He covers the absolute basics, sure, but she never gets paid for her actual work. Even before they started dating, she was basically working for free.
"The fact I even let ya' get this close to me should be enough."
Yeah... sounds like something he'd say.
So yeah. That's their relationship in a nutshell.
Now time to properly introduce my Helluva Boss self-insert!
She's a Hellborn demon from the Greed Ring! Her greed isn't physical or money-related-it's emotional.
Like I mentioned before, she's incredibly obsessive. If she loves someone, she's ridiculously protective and insanely jealous. She would genuinely kill for her partner.

Being with Mammon is a little different, though. She can barely do anything cause of Mammon's position and power, but she still somehow manages to scare off all those crazy fangirls. Good luck trying to compete with an obsessive stalker.
As for her design-she's a Pierrot! A sad clown!
Her horns are meant to resemble the classic Pierrot hat because I felt like giving her both horns and a hat would've been a little too much. I wanted the inspiration to be obvious without overcrowding the design.
I still haven't figured out her name yet, but it's definitely going to be something clown-related. If you've got any ideas, feel free to throw them at me.
Stupid fucking rant about YumeShipping/SelfShipping because I just blocked an account whose entire shtick is commenting on random people's art and calling them racist.
I'm just gonna post what I replied to them. Idk.
The term yumeshipping isn't racist. It's a Japanese fandom term (夢女子 / yumejoshi and related fandom terminology) that has become widely used across international fandoms as a synonym for self-shipping. I also use the term selfship—they're practically interchangeable to me.
Just because someone uses a Japanese fandom term doesn't automatically make them racist. By that logic, the huge number of people who use terms like yumeshipping, yume, tsundere, isekai, or cosplay would all be racist, which obviously doesn't make sense.
I use the word because it's the term many people in the community recognize, and it helps me connect with others who enjoy the same hobby. That's it.
If you personally don't like the term, that's your choice. But accusing random people of racism solely because they use a common fandom word is an enormous leap, especially without considering how they're actually using it.
And honestly, dedicating an entire account to harassing people under the yumeshipping tag over a single fandom term seems like a much less productive use of time than simply letting people enjoy their hobby.
I burst out laughing when I saw that they didn't respond to my points and just commented, "Who am I harassing?"

The idea for this came from a tweet I saw a while ago that basically said Okina could probably escape the Backrooms by just creating a door and leaving. Which honestly makes sense if you know her abilities 😭
Unfortunately, I can't find the original tweet anymore, but the concept stuck with me and I thought it'd be fun to illustrate.
I've also always found the Backrooms really interesting. Weirdly enough, I don't find the empty spaces disturbing. They're actually kind of comforting to me (the monsters are a different story). The pool levels especially have such a cool atmosphere.
Also... I've somehow ended up posting a ton of Touhou fanart lately 💀 I keep saying I want to focus more on my original characters and my own project, but then another fanart idea appears and suddenly my plans are gone.
