I think as time has gone on I've grown to be less and less disappointed with the underutilization of Jevil because he really doesn't need anything more. He gets new content just by virtue of the game progressing. Every new chapter has made it more and more clear that Jevil is in no capacity "crazy", he's completely right in all regards, we're just too ignorant to get that yet. The bit about him being the only one not locked up isn't just the classic gag about the perspective of the bars, he's actually objectively right. Everyone else IS still trapped inside the cage of the game DELTARUNE while he is not. I wonder how many other concepts he's flagrantly waved in our faces 6 chapters early that we simply don't understand yet.
