Kind and gentle reminder that letting go is hard and it’s okay to struggle with it. It’s okay to be scared of the unknown and it’s okay to not have the answers to everything. Feeling unstable and unsure is a difficult and uncomfortable feeling but fighting through those feelings for the sake of your own peace, happiness, growth, and freedom is going to be so so worth it.

Sometimes the only thing separating our current circumstances from our ideal and wanted circumstances is ourselves. Know that fear is inevitable and comes with change. Recognize that emotion and sit in it for a few seconds when you feel it. Allow yourself to process it but don’t allow it to hold you back from something you truly want.

I personally am someone who has a very “all or nothing” mentally. I either dive head first into something and let it consume me or I simply don’t invest any energy into it at all. I think this is a common mindset and often what holds a lot of us back. I recently saw a quote that said “Everything I’ve ever had to let go of has claw marks on it” and I think that resonated so much because of this mindset. I invest myself fully into things that were only ever meant to be temporary in my life and when it comes time to let it go, I fight for it. I fight for something that is no longer meant for me because how could I leave something behind when I’ve given it all of me?

A lot of times, stepping into the unknown and starting a new chapter means letting go of the old one and it causes a pause, a freeze, or a panic. There’s fear of the unknown and a grief of losing what you already knew, what you’ve devoted yourself to and held onto so tightly. If you give yourself time to grieve and release what you’re holding onto, you can move forward. Whether this is a person, a place, a past version of yourself or maybe even your past as a whole, know it’s okay to let it go. Let it go in your own time and at your own pace but don’t grip onto it so tightly that it becomes a detriment to you and your peace.

If you’re struggling with letting go and moving forward please know you’re not alone and please hold space for yourself to validate yourself and what you’re feeling because it is valid. All of it is valid and you are valid. You are not crazy for wanting connection whether that be with yourself, a specific person, or with friends and family. You are not crazy for still wanting the life you thought was meant for you. You are not crazy for wanting comfortability and peace. It’s okay to struggle with finding your place and choosing a different path, it’s normal and it’s human and it’s going to be okay. This is just a change in direction but it is FAR from the end of the road. Please know that I love you and I’m proud of you. You are valid and your wants/needs are valid and you’re going to find your way 💓

How weird… for you i get like you did right but in the wrong way. You might have acted a bit too impulsively or something. You didn’t prepare for what’s to come for you and now you kind of like overwhelmed about it. For example you wanted to create you cards’s castle but without watching tutorials to know the methods, how to make it lasts. So you did your castle but it’s not like you wanted it to be so every time you add another one, a card fall on the table. The base is still there but the rest is very fragile. (Or even doing a magic trick without knowing the technics). I think you might need to reconsider your method but you are on the right way and knowing that you should change your way of doing is also a good start. You can do better don’t worry !
