For a moment, Taric was unsure of how to respond. He could feel the resent in the dragon’s booming voice, yet it seemed distant and far off… Hidden under layer and layer of agony and repressed memories. Before he knew it, the tone faltered and the star dragon immediately perked up, continuing to poke fun at the Aspect.
Taric figured that he could just let this fly, but the uneasiness still remained.
Despite the words that had just been spoken, despite the unbearable pressure that they held, it seemed as if Aurelion Sol had entirely forgotten about what he had said. The pressure just built and built through the silence, and he figured that there was only one way to dispel it - poking yet more fun at this tortured being of immense power.
“You may have created the sun, but does it follow your rules? Have you shackled it up like the ones that have held you hostage within your own realm?”
In hindsight, that may have not been the optimal thing to say at that time. However, there was an inexcusable amount of tension between them, a sheer unshorn force that was quite nearly palpable - perhaps this could help break it. After all, if one can not laugh at their own torment on occasion, then they can not truly live.
…Well.
In the very least, that was what Taric thought.

Aurelion took note of the attempt to ease the situation in jest of what he felt at that moment. Upon finishing the masterpiece of his he easily crushed it into explosive flecks and particles before it burnt out. It would be a pity to even try to let the creation be amiss the serenity and grace of the beauties above to his dismay.
He knew he would promptly be punished if acted upon but he at least would find comfort in the fact he could allow them to blink into existence with him before having to say goodbye. He would find use with their matter again eventually once he would break his tethers from this insufferable bit of rock.
"Does she follow my rules? Of course not, have you seen those brutish demigods created with her power stored within that haughty disk of theirs? How barbaric... almost so as Targon. At least you haven't harvested her matter like that one warrior of the Solari. My darling Sun has her own agenda it seems!"
Hoping that relieved the Aspect's tension of the subject was quelled The Star Dragon rested his jagged chin upon the soil that littered the crust of earth they were resting upon. Beside himself he knew he wouldn't have to truly dwell on his own suffering for too long - he was better than that.
A flick of his luminescent tail propped up Taric's chin getting him to ease his demeanor up more. A deep rumble of a laugh came from him hoping that's what he wanted from the exchange.
