I don't think a good portion of the IWTV/TVL audience fully appreciates what it means for the show to be created and written by a team of playwrights.

Across each season, the writers have shown us, time and time again, that they're still playing the long game. The details within might not be fully fleshed out ahead, but the framework and milestones of the show clearly planned, and they've used various literary devices to guide you along the way. The show is more interested in fulfilling its creative vision first and foremost, than in appeasing or pandering to an audience (or in spoon-feeding the material to you). I remember Sam, in an interview, quoting something Rolin said about how you don't know what you want or need to see until you've seen it. I'm enjoying that the show doesn't bow to external pressure and is playing out how it's meant to play out and regardless of how long it takes to get there. That is something extremely rare in TV nowadays, where ratings and/or awards reign supreme.

Also, sure, let the tale seduce you, but still keep your wits about you!

The fact that Delainey and Jacob both shared they contributed their own pieces to the seance scene and now people are just making up stories about how they’re being held on set against against their will or are complicit in anti blackness is insane. Jacob and Delainey have just as much a right to contribute to the story as the other writers, and where are all those white fans who cared so much about having black voices in the writers room? No where to be found now, I see.

this is literally it. people just want to deny the evidence that is right in front of them because it doesn't align with their perspectives. don't even get me started on the "complicit in anti-blackness" stuff i already had to respond to someone trying to argue that because Delainey and Jacob are black-british not African American they don't understand slavery as much.

"oh no this season sucks because of no black writers"/ "ugh Jacob and Delainey need better employers"

(i dont even understand the assumption that just because there are black people in the room the writing would be automatically better because if i can recall i know that there were a couple of things some black people weren't happy about in seasons one and two that did have black people in the writers room but i digress) ,

Delainey and Jacob literally every single interview: "we love this show so much and Rolin gives us opportunities to add to scripts and scenes and even asks us what we want from our characters to be explored more in the narrative"

like? sorry but i am going to take the word of the actual black actors in the project about how they are navigating their experience than a stranger online who quips words like anti-blackness without having any deep understanding of blackness because they are white. it's so bizarre to me that there are white people slamming the white writers room for being racist and then in the same breath trying to tell black people what they should find racist or not...ive never seen anything like it.

I feel like this fandom has an issue with certain characters being portrayed in a bad light or having morally questionable moments in the story when Jacob Anderson literally said he wanted more of this, stories that allow for characters of color to be free and wild in a setting like this. Like the outrage of Claudia's portrayal in the last episode, when book readers said that this is how she felt, really concerns me

Like are y'all gonna do the same thing with Akasha? Cause I'm not a book reader, but I heard that she's one of the worst offenders when it comes to being a monster in the books, I’m excited to see her be crazy and sadistic but are y'all gonna say it's problematic for her to be a villain when she finally comes into focus?

if youre in the US (especially the northeast + michigan) i would avoid bagged salads/greens and generally wash your produce very thoroughly unless you want the diarrhea parasite

this is not life-threatening, but also who wants weeks of diarrhea and a fucking parasite in them lol. if you suspect you've already had this and it's passed, i would see a doctor. you might need an antiparasitic anyway. if you're actively sick, see a doctor and they might be able to prescribe medication to help you get over it faster.

try to avoid eating raw vegetables, scrub fruit with a produce brush and rinse thoroughly with water. again, don't bother with premade greens or bagged salads. if you buy lettuce, remove the outer 2-3 layers of leaves.

there are UNVERIFIED rumors that the greens have been linked to a company that sources to taco bell. some locations have been actively pulling fresh ingredients like lettuce, avocado, and pico de gallo to mitigate the threat, so i would avoid any products from them just in case. considering how vast supply chains are, i'd be wary of any fast food greens in general for now.
