oh honey, not only is it possible, it’s fucking stunning. i think they call them faux/bio queens (imo drag is drag, but i guess those names stuck…) and honestly, there are a lot of girls who could show some drag queens a few tricks. not that you asked but amber cadaverous is prolly my fave. i could not keep my eyes off of her which was super awkward because she was standing behind me lol

*SEEKING BIO QUEENS/ FAUX QUEENS FOR INTERVIEWS/DOCUMENTARY*

Hello;  I am a writer/aspiring filmmaker seeking bio queens/ faux queens of all ages, races, shapes, and sizes, on the East Coast to interview for a collaborative documentary that I am making with my good friend Laura, who is a queer gender studies academic film scholar living in Portland, and who is looking for queens out there on the West Coast. After we have gathered information from both coasts, we will combine them both and create this documentary. 

What is a Bio-Queen you may ask?

A faux queen or bio queen is a female performance artist who adopts the style typical of male drag queens. A faux queen may be jocularly described as “a drag queen trapped in a woman’s body”, though few are female to male transsexuals.

We are also seeking queens all throughout the US, as well as internationally, so please feel free to spread the word!  We are an indie production company and are queer female film enthusiasts/LGBTQIA advocates/writers/directors/producers. We would love to hear from any and all bio queens; tell us a bit about yourself, your passions, how you got started, strengths, weaknesses, struggles, etc. We’re really trying to raise positive awareness of this subculture within the LGBTQIA community, and also just in general; it is truly a craft to be admired by all, and we would love to have you be a part of this collaborative passion project ! Was just playing around with make up, as I often do when I don't want to sleep, and taking it off I decided to do the bottom lip first. I was left with this, admittedly rather ridiculous, thing. However I think it'll be great as a kind of comical, character defining moustache! Very cartoon like and also very customisable- it could be glittery, solid colour, multi colour, striped, dotty, you name it!
