LEA CAN HARDLY CONTAIN HIMSELF: his boredom with his company is entirely evident on an expression unmoving before eyes roll life back into him. why was every eloquent member of a dying organization so deeply tied to theatrics and dramatics? he thinks back to xaldin’s misuse of mushrooms and, regrettably, laughs. much to his company’s dismay, he imagines. laughing without reason? xaldin knew of no such thing.

AS IF HE’S IN A MOOD TO PLAY! but xaldin’s admittance gives ease where guard used to be.

HIS LYING’S FAR TOO CALM FOR HIS OWN TASTE, but he fears the upcoming laughter at the thought of xaldin listening to him and jumping will give the truth away. he’s never very good at the duplicitous act, is he?

and to think axel would take xaldin of all people to be on the mental level of demyx .   (   first off ,  rude . second , laughable .   )   the way he shows his awareness is simply displayed by his arms crossing over his chest and an eyebrow raising as he looks down to the other . really ... he still couldn’t fathom the mere fact axel would assume he’d buy into such . while it was a curious thing to see dead center of spirale during his moments of exploration , it was a dead giveaway that nothing good would truly come out of foolishly venturing down the hole within the city .

          ‘   hmph , to think you would assume i am as gullible as demyx is .   ’

did that ... actually manage to gain something more than just a chuckle from the man ? while he was never usually one to share a laugh , what else was he to do if he’s come to learn that he , as well as his ... colleagues , were stranded in such an odd place ? as much as he’d like to leave and tend to more important matters , it doesn’t seem like it’ll happen anytime soon . so he’ll stay his hand for the time being .

This wasn’t a time for fights. This wasn’t a time for battles. Instead, Sora had to bite his tongue from saying anything that would spike conflict. However, as far as he’s concern, the other didn’t seem exactly interested in said conflict as well. Would this really be considered a truce? It’s an odd term to put it, but it’s the only one he could think of. As long as the other isn’t doing anything to ruin someone’s night, there is nothing Sora could do. After all, they just happen to meet close to a group of individuals that were sitting around a bonfire, talking among themselves. 

They just happen to be close by, neither of them moving… but it isn’t as if he could just leave him alone. Sora took in a small breath before addressing the other. “This doesn’t look like a place you would be interested in going. I thought you would lock yourself in your room until all this has pass. Care to share anything?” ‘Or you can just stand there and intimidate others.’ That wouldn’t be a good idea to say that last part outloud.

he was right , during this time it was far from choosing to fight . after being in spirale for quite some time , xaldin has found himself with the lack of picking fights and more so staying true to his more reserved attitude . being here , there was no purpose for such , in the end . so when he silently overlooks the other participants that seemed to have attended the festivities , he senses a familiar presence and looks off only to find no other than sora .

          ‘   please , i do not always lock myself away .   ’

was that ... a subtle jab ? perhaps , but it was true . he’s found himself out more , even though he kept to himself , he’s explored spirale ----- put things to memory , grew custom to some of the oddities he’s never encountered before with ease . to say the least he was .... doing what he could to remain an active person entirely . without the organization and their motives , there wasn’t much they could do in this state of limbo .

It had been a while since Sora was left dumbstruck due to an Organization’s presance and words. His mind didn’t register quick enough before the other began walking away. Sora only had one or two questions, but those didn’t have the chance to surface as the other walked away. That wasn’t going to stop Sora as the other walk by him, following close by. 

“Hey hold on! I can’t exactly run off after all that. Can you just answer me a few questions? It’s really important. You guys keep showing up one by one but I don’t even know where to begin on why you guys are coming up here?” Not to mention that he wanted to obtain some information if this guy is still working with the Organization, unlike the few others he manage to come across or not.

when he’s addressed despite the fact that xaldin had already dismissed him , he turns back to face the keyblade wielder . only to notice that the other was already making a pursuit after the lancer .   (   of all times to ---   )   his thoughts couldn’t even finish themselves when he’s bombarded with question after question . a fine situation the nobody seemed to have landed himself in , though , in the end , can one really say that even after the whole ordeal of this place ?

persistent .... it’s always the persistent ones . and he asks questions that not even he can answer , after all , it’s not as if they came to this place on purpose . so there was already a question crossed off the possibly even longer list that could soon form after he states something .

          ‘   there is no pure purpose that we are here .   ’

xaldin states this as plainly as possible , and what others would think he’s just making up some sort of lie to simply end the conversation quickly ,   (   as much as he’d love that .   )   he speaks the truth . 

          ‘   and i have no purpose to serve in this city . so whatever answers you seek with me ... they will undoubtedly remain unanswered for the most part .   ’

striking violets stare intensely at the other . ventus could go to believing that xaldin simply had a scowl that didn’t seem to plan on fading either . (   why did this one seem familiar ? and if he was right , why couldn’t xaldin remember for the life of him ?   ) remaining silent as he tried to piece it together himself , his mind ... it was nothing but blurs and static and without a doubt , it was beginning to bother him . so when he speaks up , it’s with a demanding tone hoping to solve this little predicament .

of all times to encounter someone , it’s when he is far from the talkative mood the other boasts . but ... to say the least , when has xaldin ever been talkative unless it was of utmost importance that he did ? and the other , it seemed he did not recognize him , xaldin however , could not truly forget the keyblade wielder’s face . while he didn’t bring that to the light of things , it was a thought he’d tuck deep away into the back of his mind .
