There are different imitation levels to memes, in some cases is the subject, in others is the format or the stance taken by the subject. People can imitate layers of meme, modify and share them further in their changed form. You could say a meme never stops evolving. #mcs204

What I like about memes is that often to me are an inside joke with a restricted part of the internet that gets it. Understanding the concept of meme itself is already restricting and cuts away a big part of interent users, usually older generations. #mcs204
