Had too much going on, so I've finally decided to break the cycle of work, routine, and various hardships... And I bought a new sketchbook ✨

So right now I'm focusing on getting used to the feeling of a pencil in my hand again and drawing lots of random sketches of cats and all sorts of other things to feel free again. Also, about the cats, I'm finally going to freely draw a magic race of cats and establish my style for them so I can make more solid art with them 🐈✏️

Not long ago, I decided to start creating fan art and began with Nott (and Frumpkin). I didn't like how she looked in that sketch, so I decided to train more using the official character design sheet. It also helped me practice emotions and become more comfortable drawing emotions that aren’t just “pretty.” ✨ I want to train more with other characters as well. I have quite a big gap in drawing male characters, so I’m thinking of using someone else as a study subject 🤔 Here is the ref that I used for practice:

Just trying to remember how properly draw heads ✏️

If you decide to scroll through my first posts, they were drawn about half a year ago, and I had struggles. Before those sketches, I had been drawing something little with breaks of many months. Now I'm trying to start to create momentum to draw regularly and, of course, better ✨

Previously, I wasn't really into making fan art. I like fan art by others, but I wasn't doing it myself. I decided to stop being just a viewer, although there is a little bit of a practical approach for that, but honestly, I think I was a little afraid of doing that 🤔

Although I have a lot of shows and games I like, I decided to start by sketching Nott and Frumpkin, because that was the latest show I had seen and I really liked her. I haven't watched the campaign (yet), but I've got some spoilers about her story. Alas, she looks a little too cute in the sketch for a sharp character that she is, and I hope I will be able to fix it in the future ✨

For some reason purple, pink and blue became my favorite colors, so I want to learn how to draw with them 🎨
