Casey called Charlie at once to ask him if he would meet up with her to talk about something important.

Charlie: So, what’s up?

Casey: Well... okay, so, me and Connie are thinking about having another kid.

Charlie: Really? That’s awesome!

Casey: Yeah, and this time Connie is going to be pregnant. But we still want the child to be biologically related to both of us. So, what we wanted to know is if you would like to be our donor?

Charlie: Yes! Of course I would!

Casey: Really?

Charlie: Yeah, I mean I don’t want to have kids of my own so this is a way to put my goods to use.

It was a day that they both had off from work that Connie asked Casey if they could talk about something. They both sat down by the dining table and Connie took a deep breath before she started talking.

Connie: You have been pregnant, when you had Lexi.

Casey: Yes...?

Connie: I’ve always wanted to know what it’s like to be pregnant... And I feel like now would be a good time for me to...

Casey: You want another kid?

Connie: Yes, I do. But I also don’t want to have child that’s not biologically yours. And yes I do know that it’s impossible.

Casey: Well, I’ve actually been thinking of this... What if Charlie was our donor? That way the child would be biologically related to both of us.

Connie: Really? That sounds amazing but do you think Charlie would agree to it?

Casey: I’ll have to ask him, but I think he would.
