Hey frands. My work and I were recently written up twice this month! Woo! I’ll also be doing a podcast interview later this month with The Roost and I am pretty excited about that.

“I was initially interested in working in government and politics while growing up,” explains artist Danielle Draik. She turned to art when she realized it was a more ideologically pure form. She finds great satisfaction in the act of creation – building something out of nothing. “It’s amazing to have met people who have seen my work, approached me, and told me that they’ve connected to it, deeply.”

Hey all! If you’ve been following my work at all recently, you’ve noticed that I haven’t shut up about a certain 5 foot woodcut.

Well it’s done, printed, and now on BIG INK’s gallery and I think you should take a look.

Successful Ritual is my largest relief print to date and stands at 63 x 40 inches. Since my relief prints are steadily becoming a crowd favorite, I hope to do more large scale ones in the future and will be posting decent photos of a newbie soon. (I have to get the hang of hand printing)
