@recklessflux @ease-out-the-clutch @notlooking23 and etsuya34
I see you. This is just for you.
(Going to start trying to use the ALT text consistently for posts now, first time doing it!!)
Continued from here:
@starlitmemoriam
He had actually just wanted to pull a prank here, nothing so serious as it looked. He was just controlling and puppeteering some of the shadows around them and now he had let loose a beast.
The beast weren’t his little, mischievous ‘friends’, oh no. It was Ryou Bakura, having smelled out a new paranormal activity, which he had to either rid himself of or understand.
The problem was that his shadows had apparently ripped loose now and were a lot harder to control, because they had latched onto something he hadn't accounted for, which was apparently stuck to the other one pretty tightly...
For one second, he asked himself if the spirit was really gone, before he felt Ryou glance at him and stepped closer, something whooshing by just shy of his right ear... that was definitely not looking good... he had to get rid of this conglumeration of evil intent.
His fingers brushed along Ryou's arm like a silent reassurance that he was real and he took the salt with a lopsided grin. "Always a surprise. Hope you don't afford your plants this questionable care."
Opening the small bag, he frowned. "That's barely enough for a round around a table... let's see then.
He wasn't sure if this being would even be bothered by salt, but he wasn't especially worried. He had had his fair dance with darkness before and in the end it hsd always ended up in the dirt beneath him. He spread the salt out just like Ryou had asked him to and hoped they'd actually make good progress... he didn't know what he had caused, but in the back of his mind, he could almost feel it snarl.
If it tried to attack the other, he'd probably blast it into confetti, before it could even touch them.
"Like this?" He asked the other to confirm the quality of his work. He had been carefully to leave no gaps in the circling and still kept a small amount in the sack he was holding.
He had read about spirits possessing dolls recoiling from their attacks when hit by salt water.. maybe this could be helpful to Ryou then.
My friends were talking about the phenomenon of The Hat Man* at approximately 1 in the morning last night, you know when I, the person who is still afraid of the hallway because of a nightmare I had over 18 years ago, was in the dark back room of our house, alone... so while I've never experienced this particular phenomenon, I felt the need to draw it today nonetheless.
*The Hat Man seems to be a common/shared nightmare or often recurrent figure of a large shadowy man in a hat standing over people in their beds, seen in many cases of sleep paralysis all around the world.
I’m guessing the shadow zuko is making is a pig-rooster/chicken thing
I put this two toghether i hope its okay. i gues it is finally time to reveal the mistery animal and it is.... *drumming sounds*
The DragonMoose
shadow figures are pretty abstract, and it is difficult to interpret atla animals in these forms. because... they are... you know two animals combined... but hey other option i would have nearly used were...
and i was really close to use the komodo rhino, but yeha... at the end curiously the dragonmoose won :’D
