aaaaah! things have been keeping me super busy and completely unable to even lurk much, sorry about that! i planned in my mind to have my queue running through may and i couldn't hit that goal, unfortunately </3. big plans are coming my way and i just wanted to make this little post as a "hello! i'm still here and i plan to keep writing, but a few more weeks of total silence are about to come!" dkfjdfg. hopefully around mid-june i can tend to my rp blogs again. stay safe and be well! :3

"perhaps you are right, but the shame is that i've found myself comfortable right here," aleera tells him. she remains resting against him. "and i've no interest in leaving so soon."

in the time that aleera has sought refuge from the sun in this mountainous ruin of a castle, she's grown comfortable in the dragon's company. he never raised a claw against her in the time that she's been here, which could not be spoken of with her deceased husband.

"am i not your treasure already, my lord," she asked, head tilting upward to look up at his golden eyes. "here i am ... wearing a dragon's treasures and he hasn't taken tooth nor claw to me yet."

not many, if at all, could say the same as she does so naturally. they were both creatures to be feared for different reasons, and both ego as well as size continue to feed smaug's sense of grandeur. she questions about being his treasure, and it's then that the dragon hums again, this time as a laugh.

another smile from him, this time showing sharp teeth. "oh, but you are mine." and he liked that thought alone. possession. getting to say that she quite literally belongs to him.

a powerful vampire who was also stunningly beautiful. he was just fascinated with her nature and just about everything that was her. not in a way a human would consider having feelings for someone, but rather a beast craving that ownership for the sake of power and pride.

"oh, i would not damage my most precious jewel..." he picks his words carefully, speaking sweetly though not overly so. he knows how to make his words seem kind for convenience.

While the chill hardly affected her, the bite of the cold atop the mountain infiltrated her being. Carefully, Aleera settled beside his belly in an effort to block some of the chill from her exposed flesh. Her chosen gown for the evening hadn't been accommodating enough for these winds.

"It is cold tonight," she told him as she settled her legs beneath her and pushed her skirts around her. With little thought to safety, Aleera leaned against the dragon's warm scales. A playful smile touched her lips.

"Seems so selfish for you to have all this warmth and not share it."

he seems to be eternally dismissive of the overall challenges one could have with the weather when not covered in scales and born with fire within. his high temperature was a given default, the biting cold of the mountain during the nights and winters would never bring any type of discomfort. aleera speaks a playful comment and the dragon only looks at her through the corner of his eye, unbothered.

"and it will get colder... you should consider a change of robes." he sounds serious, though through his odd sense of humor it was meant to be a tease. head lowers down and turns to look at her a bit closer, humming. the sound making the ground and his stomach reverberate.

"unless... you enjoy staying this close to me. i wouldn't mind keeping you as a treasure." and he smiles. it's meant as another tease, though smaug already considered her just that.

i've been playing monster hunter and i really want to make an AU for smaug :3 i'm still figuring out the details and putting stuff together, but that's something to look forward to!

1) a television series I recently enjoyed is… "the good place", watched the whole thing with my husband last month :3! i really liked it.

2) a meal or food that brings me the most comfort is... call me corny but anything that is cooked by my husband ;w; especially veggie curry, ramen, and homemade pizza uwu.

3) 3 songs I've had on repeat lately are… i haven't been listening to much outside of soundtracks, from skyrim and pikmin 1 specifically... lol.

4) my favorite go-to hobbies or pastimes are… editing pictures/videos, drawing, and i've been animating small stuff lately.

5) the pets I have at home (if applicable) are… a chihuahua :D with alopecia nkdfjgdjfg and a bunch of other small dogs.

10) the last book i finished reading was… the twisted ones, the fnaf book.

12) my opinions on ghosts & hauntings are… i've never experienced anything myself, but i've heard and read enough to firmly believe there's something there.

14) If I could cast an actor to play myself, it would be… i have no clue.

15) I'm currently obsessed with… aaaaah i'm back into fnaf ;w; i'm so excited about the upcoming movie and i'll go watch it with my best friend! and it's also a reason (other than being busy) why i haven't been able to concentrate on my muses xD maybe i should try writing something fnaf but i also don't think i want to lmao.

i'm slowly easing back in after my vacation ♥ everything went great! and i will check all my notifications and stuff bit by bit. i hope everyone is doing well. c:

stoic. there's absolutely no reaction from him whatsoever. he's not even pretending to be paying attention to what they're keeping an eye to... frankly, he couldn't care less about the job. it was petty work, and they were instructed not to kill their mark, just scare them enough to make sure they don't steal from the kingpin again.

the sun was far too bright and intense, yet smaug remains gracefully calm... his body already a furnace, the added temperature was nothing but soothing. artemis having such a strong reaction to his teasing and the weather, however... that was more entertaining.

he's prepared for her to hit him at any moment, and whether he'll take the punch or protect himself at the last second will remain to be seen. "it's not even that bad, you're being extremely dramatic." his voice monotone, and he doesn't even bother making eye contact. or the equivalent of it if he bothered to stare at her sunglasses.

"you're being far too unprofessional right now... are you sure you're good at this?" just to add more pressure to things. he enjoyed getting a reaction from others far too much.

"it is not polite or wise to be that arrogant in front of a dragon." his insult was loaded with hypocrisy, but smaug means to cause harm in a different way with those words. in front of a dragon... as if she wasn't one. by mere comparison of a first impression, he will deem himself better than the stranger. it was nothing but pride, not established fact for now.

"for what reason have you come here? are you that eager to pick up a fight with someone you won't survive against?" despite his words and expression being hostile, smaug doesn't move or prepare himself for a fight. he's alert towards the other, but his own arrogance keeps him from feeling threatened at all.
