In honor of Aliens’ 30th anniversary next year, Dark Horse Comics is reissuing the comic series of the same name in an oversized hardcover edition. Aliens: The Original Comics Series will be released on April 26, 2016.
The six-issue comic, written by Mark Verheiden and illustrated by Mark A. Nelson, serves as a direct sequel to James Cameron’s 1986 sci-fi classic.
In deep space, a salvage crew is attacked by seemingly unstoppable monsters. The marines are called in, but they need someone with experience. Soon Hicks (the horribly scarred survivor from Aliens) and Newt (now almost eighteen) find themselves on a mission to locate and destroy the aliens’ homeworld!
