Death loves me but

No matter how hard he cried, he was still all alone on this earth.

He was dead inside long time ago but in a cruel twist of fate, the more he tried to love someone, the more death loved him.

Curved on a small mirror, broken as his heart, in contact with other galaxies, his regurgitating angry words made their way up, until they came out like something loathsome.

Humanity betrayed him.

Nobody could help him.

But the bravest beings from that cursed race, tried to calm him down, and though he wanted help, finally, he devourated all of them.

Only one remained, the kindest and lonely koala of that rotten world.

It loved every creature in the universe and its pure desire to love him too, won against his hate.

With the promise to always be there for him, it left a gift on his small broken mirror to remember he wasn't alone.

He didn't devour the koala yet.

But who knows.

Maybe he had to face off an eternal curse of loneliness.

Unexpectedly the monster spoke.

<<"Thank you so much, rebel.">>

Since then, death loved him less every day.
