A small reminder.
Doing an ongoing spell for wealth and financial security.
My anxiety is really weird around manifesting financial stuff so I tend to be really careful with how I word things and where I focus my energy.
Shortbread Cookie Recipe (Cookie Spells)
Here is my basic shortbread cookie recipe, as well as a few variations you can do in order to jazz up an offering or use the cookie as a spell. Cookies make fantastic vessels for spells -more so than most other desserts in my experience. They also make perfect offerings for your deities, and simplify whole-item offerings to Chthonic deities.

Calming Tea for Troubled Times
I know we’re all feeling a little anxious, so here’s a quick tea fix:
3 pinches Chamomile (soothing)
1 pinch Lemon Balm (soothing)
1 pinch Catnip (immune booster)
Now, this won’t cure everything, but it will give both your mood and your immune system a little boost.
Side Effects:
Please be aware that Catnip can possibly bring on menstruation a little early, and it can make your bleeding heavier if you’re already on your period. Use with caution if you have PID or Endometriosis.
Soups and Broths in Magick
I am rather new to the witch community on tumblr but I have been interested in witchcraft for years. I have come upon a reoccurring thing, many of my friends I wish to magically aid through teas and herbal brews, do not like the taste of tea. I have found that mixing herbal blends or herbs representing what you wish to occur into soups and broths work just as well! In fact if you choose the right soup you can get sometimes better results I have found. Soup mimics tea by being easily drank and can be served warm and hot, which I find very comforting.
First it is important to choose a soup or broth that goes well taste wise with the herbs you wish to use. You want it to taste pleasant for yourself or the one you are providing it to. Though, try to find a soup or stock or broth that corresponds with what you wish to achieve with the herbs to further strengthen and increase the outcome you wish.
A short list of correspondences:
Chicken Broth/Stock: Uncrossing, new growth, fertility, sacrifice, New beginnings, rebirth

Pork Broth/Stock or Bacon: Intelligence, good luck, prosperity, curiousity, discovering new things
Fish Broth/Stock: Close connections to Water, health, improving oneself, the unconcious mind, awareness, fertility, good luck, wishes, change
Shellfish/Clam/Mussel Broth/Stock/Soup/Chowder: Protection, stopping lies/gossip/rumors, removal or treatment of stubbornness, honesty, truth, close connections to both Water and Earth, living a natural life
Shrimp Broth/Stock: love, abundance, fertility, trying new things, moving forward
Cheese base/Milk base soup/Chowder: Beauty, femininity, love, self-love, purification, rebirth
Tomato Soup: Protection, prosperity, love, uncrossing, femininity, romance and passion, negation of negativity and evil
Pumpkin Soup: Healing, prosperity, love, protection, granting wishes
Squash Soup: Psychic awareness, spiritual enlightenment
Corn Chowder: connections to the sun, luck, prosperity, abundance
Onion Soup: protection, keep evil away, healing, banishing, stability, exorcism, money, lust, and ends bad habits
Pea Soup: Kindness, connections with Air
Mushroom Soup: psychic enhancement, connections to Earth, longevity, strength, immortality
Curry/Curry Soups: banishing, healing, prosperity, protection from negativity
Soups with Noodles: Longevity, uncrossing
Soups with Rice: prosperity, blessing, money and wealth, security, good fortune to come
Soups with Barley: Love, Healing, Protection Hopefully this will be helpful for any witches who are not very big fans of the taste of teas or for anyone else for that matter. I would love to hear or see any other suggestions for tea replacements or other soups that could be used. This came straight out of my Grimoire and I hope to add more of it to this site soon. Blessed be everyone!

Sandwich correspondences
Fruit correspondences
Vegetable correspondences
Tea correspondences (sun tea, tea in general, floral tea)
Flower correspondences- can be used as decoration, for flower crowns, as a fun nature activity (collecting them respectfully, of course), and edible flowers can be used for deserts, drinks, and salads!
Desserts- here’s some witchy dessert recipes, perfect for any picnic!
(Tiny strawberry pies, cranberry pistachio shortbreads, cardamom pear cake, ginger and fig tart, apricot coconut bites, and lavender tea bread)
Locations- fun witchy locations for picnics include:
🌹a botanical garden, floral garden, or any sort of garden (perfect for fae, floral, air, green, life, spring, and summer witchcraft)
☀️a sunny open field/area (probably has wild flowers!, great for air, sun, floral, and weather witchcraft)
🌙⭐a night picnic under the stars and moon! (Perfect for lunar, nocturnal, and cosmic witchcraft)
🌳a park (great for all witchcraft, very versatile)
🌊💧a beach, pond, lake or near any body of water (perfect for water, sea, and love witchcraft)
👻a cemetery (perfect for death, spirit, medium, and floral witchcraft. Just make sure it’s allowed and you’re respectful of graves)
🌲A forest (perfect for forest, tree, nature, green, earth, and hedge witchcraft, here’s some tree correspondences)
Other witchy picnic ideas:
Stones/crystals to bring- it depends a lot on location and the general theme of the picnic! But a few favorites of mine are:
rose quartz, opalite, any aura quartz, sunstone, agate, tigers eye, and selenite (especially peach selenite)
Scents- I like to focus on scents a lot during picnics. It can make the experience so much more enjoyable! Location once again plays a huge role, but you can always spray your picnic blanket with essential oils, use strongly scented herbs or flowers, use a specific perfume, or even a specific tea that smells good. Some scents I like to focus on during picnics are:
lemon, orange, grapefruit, lemongrass, strawberry, orange blossom, gardenia, rose and lavender
Bring some little spells or offerings with you! A picnic in nature is the perfect time to do a little crafting, especially love, self care, fae, peace and happiness spells. And you can correspond your picnic with the intent of the spell!
It’s also a great time for devotional offerings and any other offerings, especially fae offerings.
Put together a picnic spell- an entire picnic can be a spell! Everything from location, to drinks, to food, and the extra stuff you bring along can be in it.
🍑Have fun picnic witching! 💐
That is such a great post! Thank you OP!

House Witch’s Chores and Witchy Home 🏡
🧺 Ward the doors and windows to protect your home and family from negativity.
🧺 Brew and stir intent into your tea and coffee.
🧺Use kitchen witchery when cooking and baking in your home.
🧺Place a glamour spell or enchantment on your make up brushes and hair brushes or combs. Make an herbal hair rinse to use and turn it into a daily glamour ritual for yourself.
🧺Color coordinate your clothes, candles, and furnishings to match your intent.
🧺Place a piece of black obsidian in the left side of your windowsills to banish negativity from your home, and place howlite in the right side of your windowsills to invite positivity and calm. This is great for bedroom windows.
🧺Meditate in the garden in the sunshine and meet the Sun in meditation. Ground yourself too through meditation and feel the earth and grass beneath you.
🧺Put peanut butter on pine cones and dip them into bird seed to create nice treats for the birds and squirrels in your garden.
🧺Take ritual baths and showers to cleanse yourself after a tough day.
🧺Talk to your houseplants, use your pendulum to ask them if they need more sunlight or water, and bless pitchers of water to welcome new houseplants into your home.
🧺If you have dream catchers hung in your home, always remember to cleanse them regularly. Dream catchers can easily become “nightmare catchers” if they are not cleansed and cared for regularly.
🧺When knitting, weave protection charms and protective energy into your projects, especially if your making sweaters, scarves, hats, or gloves for friends and family.
🧺If sewing and repairing stuffed animals like rag dolls and teddy bears, place some lavender or small rose quartz tumbled stones if possible inside the body of the stuffed animal to not only make it smell good, but imbue it with love and soothing energies.
🧺Open the windows when you clean and smoke cleanse with sage to clear out negativity from the home or use rosemary to protect it.
🧺Mop your floors with salt water to cleanse your space.
🧺Sweep dirt and negativity out of your home through the back door.
🧺Place a protective charm on you and your family’s shoes or coats.
Two spells - one for joy, and one for calmness

Even more BOS ideas:
I always try to find more creative bos/grimoire ideas because everytime you try to find some inspiration, you find posts with ideas like: write down all herb correspondences. And I get it, and of course you should study those things, but at one point you know these correspondences and you don't feel the need to write them down in every single grimoire you own. So here are some ideas to add to your bos or grimoire that you might not have thought of(this is gonna be a long one)
☀️Timecapsule enveloppes (add a letter to the one who finds it, a handprint, a newsarticle, anyhing flat 🙃)
☀️Draw sigils or shapes with liquid glue and cover it with a corresponding herb or glitter/powder with a corresponding color
☀️Draw a sort of treasuremap to your favorite magical place (can be in nature, a shop, a place in your house, anything really)
☀️Nursery rhymes and childrens scare tactics (like the boogeyman) from your country or area (In the Netherlands there is a monster called the bietebauw and it has an entire song dedicated to him, and adults used to sing it to children to scare the everliving shit out of them. It's the most terrifying fucking song I've ever heard 😂)
☀️Any faerie types from your area (I found a lot of interesting entities for the Netherlands)
☀️If you've ever been to a haunted location, list the ghosts and spirits that reside there, maybe even draw a map with their locations
☀️Seed bomb recipes (to replace the often not so eco friendly offering stone recipes)
☀️How to use poppets in for example ancestor work, shadow work, deity work, etc
☀️For the tea drinkers out there: what ingredients are in your favorite teas? In what way are they magical?
☀️If you like working with chocolate: (especially with beltane coming up) what flowers are edible? What magical properties do they have? Write some chocolate bark or bonbon recipes with them
☀️For shadow workers: any phobias? Do they come from trauma? Maybe even past life trauma? What is it that makes you scared or disgusted about your phobia? Do you have particular triggers?
☀️Do you have a favorite historical figure? Write a ritual for the day of their death, be as symbolic as you want (if their day of death is unknown, choose another date to honor them)
☀️Make a flat advent calender or twelve days of yule calender (or just a calender for any holiday that lasts a long time) you can add poems, quotes, small prints of your favorite art, facts, truth or dares, dilemma's, etc... (and if you make it now, you probably will have forgotten what you put in it when yule time comes)
☀️If you've had therapy: is there anything that your therapist told/taught you that really stuck with you? (Mine helped me rewrite some of my traumatic memories, I wrote down step by step how to do it)
☀️Birthmarks are supposedly telling of how you died in your previous life, draw your birthmarks, where on your body are they? How could you have died?
☀️In what phase was the moon on the day you where born? What does that mean for you?
☀️Does your family hold any superstitions or magical traditions? (My grandma was as catholic as they come but she could remove headaches by rubbing your head with her hands and on new years eve she was banging pots and pans with a wooden spoon to drive away angry spirits)
You don't need to do all or some or any of these, they are just the things I like to include in my bos and maybe they inspired you, stay happy and safe y'all ❤❤❤
