I’m taking a moment to commemorate my a little over a year of riding scooter specifically a Vespa. I first bought my motorcycle back in July last year. its a 4stroke 200cc LML Star just like the one, Yellow Cab use for their delivery. It was a pure joy being nervous bringing that marvelous piece of machine from Binan to our house in Parañaque. I got into it, I joined rides, and observed riding groups. I ended up having numerous group cotton shirts, dri-fit shirts and a trucker cap even. I also learned that LML isn’t “really” a vespa to those who I encounter and asked about my ride. So I sold my LML, bought a legitimate 2015 Vespa PX150 “Millenium Edition” from there it multiplied. Now I own a Px150, a 2017 iGet Primavera and a 2013 GTS 300 ie. But what I observed the most, is that being in this community while we are small, I’ve encountered petty issues and issues of anything and everything about people dynamics - its not even about the passion we all shared. Its who can have the most members of group, who have the best ride, etc. kinda breaks your heart if you ask me. Well with group or not - a lone rider or a fleet of wasps it doesn’t matter. We bought our motorcycle and its ours and every time we sit in that saddle with a 150cc between our legs its just you and the road charging on. Cheers to all new riders!
