I am the distinguished Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (PhD), a man of science who has a solution for everything. No Beaker and I aren’t on speaking terms so stop asking.

are you really bunsen? have you actually excaped the clutches of diesny corporation?

That’s Dr. Honeydew to you, but yes I am the real Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (PhD). I was never in “the clutches of the Disney corporation” as you put it. I am a man of science, and pursued an opportunity to work no strings attached with enormous funding for my research at Muppet Labs. I am now mostly pursuing other benefactors but do still from time to time make appearances under the Disney brand mostly to catch up with old friends or when I need extra funding for a big project.

My third invention for The Muppet Show was the gorilla detector. It detects Gorillas. Why didn’t it go off when the Gorilla was coming up behind to attack me you ask? Because that was a man in a gorilla suit that Jim Henson paid to embarrass me in an attempt to slander my good name. If it was a real gorilla it would have worked!

My second invention on The Muppet Show was the robot politician. I created him to become any kind of government leader. Democratic? Yes. Dictator? Why not. The ruler of a small ancient Greek city-state under constant threat of invasion? I SAID ANY KIND OF LEADER! So what if he blew up that’s not on me.
