alejandra was glad to be going out, she wanted to have a nice day with evander after their run in last week with her ex.. the both of them could use a bit of fun and time to just let go, the fair would give them exactly that. the brunette smiled, she walked into his bedroom and she crawled into his bed to nestle into him. “morning, love.” she whispered. @drcgonevander | closed.

evander had slept most of the night away he really didn't feel like getting out of bed but when he felt it dip he turned his head to look at Alejandra and he smiled at her. "morning." he breathed and he leaned over and kissed the tip of her nose.

“I’ll help you once we’ve just laid here for a while.” she told him, her eyes opening up to look up at him and she gave a faint smile. “apart from all that happened, I’m glad you came over so I can see you.”

"nah, i'll wait until you're asleep and i'll get it done. i want you to relax." he told her and he gave a brief smile back in return. "i'm glad i did." god knows what would've happened had he not.

“ok babe.” alejandra smiled, her hands sliding up and down his back when he nestled into her hair. “but you don’t have to clean up, you can just relax with me hm?” she asked.

evander kept his hand running up and down her side as she spoke. "i won't, but i'll clean it up later that i will do."

“i can’t promise sleep, but i will lay here… i do like the attention.” she teased lightly and gave him a small version of a smile as she looked up at him and she pressed a small kiss to his chest as he held her.

“as long as you rest, love.” he smiled slightly and he put his arm around her shoulders holding her close as she spoke and he nestled his nose into her hair.

alejandra nodded, she closed her eyes as she felt his arms wrap around her smaller frame and she instantly felt the comfort. “i’m not exactly tired though, so i’ll just lay here… i’m fine now, i’m healed aside from a few phantom pains but that’s all.”

he nodded. "i know exactly what you mean, but i'd rather have you rest love." he hummed softly his chin resting atop her head as he spoke and allowed one hand to slide up and down her back as he held her close.

"we can, you should rest though and while you do I can clean up." he smiled at her and kissed the side of her head as his arms wrapped around her completely.

he smiled softly, the only thing he could think of doing. he stayed quiet for a moment. it hasn't been the first time over the last century that he'd nearly come to his end and he knew at some point it would happen again but she didn't need to know that. "well i'm right here with you, and i'm going nowhere."

evander looked down at her as she spoke and he smiled kissing the top of her head. "what happened, happened but i do not blame you. okay?" he asked and he leaned down kissing her atop the head.

“This is D E L I C I O U S. What is it called again?” The angel hummed in appreciation before she licked some of it off of her fingers.

“uhhhhh, not actually sure.” he laughed.

“ok, wow –– ouch.” farah groaned, she rolled over after she hit the mat hard and she pushed herself up. “you’re not going to take this training easy, are you?”

“well if you wanna do it right, we can’t go easy on you.” he smiled slightly. “protecting yourself can be potentially dangerous so i’m gonna teach you how to do it right.”

evander nodded and he moved carefully and slowly next to her onto the bed one arm wrapping securely around her and he shook his head. "no, alejandra. that.. it was a long time coming. he wasn't here to kill you, so if anybody's sorry it's me."

while alejandra was healing, evander got rid of the body and as soon as he was done he was back beside her again, sitting patiently, waiting. he was struggling with the impatience internally though. he wanted her to wake so he could speak to her, make sure she was alright. it was an internal battle with telling himself she was going to be ok and him being worried. when she woke he looked down at her. "he's gone."

seeing the man come at him, evander closed his eyes but when nothing happened he opened them again only for them widen when he looked down to see that it had been Alejandra who’d taken the blade. when she slumped and passed out he caught her. his eyes never once leaving the warlock before him and he set her down, taking a step around her, he let out a roar and lunged at the man once more before he began to beat him to a pulp. he kept him pinned against the wall and he used his own blade to stab him through the heart. waiting until he took his last breath, evander turned and picked Alejandra up and moved her through to her room.

he kept himself hovering over her as she whispered and he shook his head while he looked down at her. "i can't do that while i'm in here. i could hurt you." despite her being a Phoenix it didn't mean she couldn't be hurt. hearing the disgust in the other man's voice made him cringe and he leaned down pressing a deep kiss to her lips. he pulled back a fraction. "i love you." he whispered. he pulled himself back completely and he let out a breath, getting to his feet but he pulled her up with him and kept her behind him, he was well aware she could take care of herself but it wasn't going to stop him. "if you're going to kill me, you better hurry up and get it over with."

squeezing harder on the mans throat, making sure he knew it was coming to an end, evander was a little taken back by the fact that she'd kissed him. in fact it caught him completely by surprise but he kissed back. which gave the warlock a split second of a chance, the two of them being thrown back by magic. evander cursed as he hit the ground making sure his arms had caught alejandra so she would land on top of him instead of the floor and he rolled over so he was above her, just in case anymore attacks were to come at them while they were slightly defenceless.
