Proper Flossing Technique for Healthy Gums

In terms of flossing technique, begin by measuring out approximately 18 inches of floss and wrapping most of it around one middle finger, then wrapping the rest around the other middle finger. When cleaning the upper teeth, use the forefinger and thumb of each hand to hold the floss.
