Lately I've been thinking about@ how I use my phone, if the apps I open and use are a pattern or am I deliberately selecting them. As sometimes it feels as though I open certain apps without even thinking. So I found a way to record what goes on in my phone as I'm using it.

After typing and uploading text (like a password) it reveals anything anybody else has typed by highlighting the list of IP adresses.

Quite enjoying experimenting with Processing. Mainly because typing in stuff and getting shapes out makes me feel like I'm a computer genius. On a smaller scale of course.

Well, hulu just built an extremely crazy thing: huluperfectgif. It’s a Tumblr blog. It’s also a wonderfully vast, impeccably organized library of TV GIFs, all of them reblog- and reaction-ready.

Pop in and grab a Mindy Project or a Bob’s Burgers. Or dig deep and find Frasier Crane being hit in the head by a luggage compartment door. Probably getting exactly what he deserves, that uptight snob.

A library of perfectly organised TV GIF's? Sounds like a plan.

It took a lot of experimentation and an almost surgical procedure of removing frames but this is a screenshot of my final gif. Who knew a 3 mb limit would be so rough.

So after trying a whole lot of gifs in a few different styles, I narrowed my final choice down to a couple. Then I arrived in Singapore and thought: ‘Lets make an Asian one.’ So I’ve abandoned previous works and have been working on something Singapore related. I’ve been in a couple of taxi’s over the past few nights only to be pulled over so police can check to see the driver’s papers. Not much conversation takes place and the police always seem slightly condescending, which gave me a few ideas. #cicgifproject

Cinemagraphs look difficult. Trains moving across a landscape could be an easier introduction to the medium as the point of movement is more isolated.
