I had a random idea of Kaycee using the dagger, and then my thoughts spiralled

Maybe an earlier version of Inscryption allowed the player to use the dagger more often, and Kaycee took advantage of it as often as possible, even though she should have fixed the mechanic as soon as she noticed. She's forced to do it when Leshy gets fed up with it and retaliates.

If she could she'd jump him and find the missing eyeballs, but she's not literally in the game (yet), so her movement is very limited. Leshy couldn't just delete the eyeballs, so he stuffed them in his mouth and is storing them in his cheeks like a squirrel (so imagine him in the comic as if he's speaking with his mouth full).

anyway i've lagged SO bad in making art for one of my wildest fic chapters, the one where poe's mysterious ex-wife turns out to be the dark clown sado and they split due to being t4t-flavored comphet and realizing too late that they weren't really a good fit for each other long-term

i was sitting on this twist for literal years and i'm really glad everyone liked it as much as i did LOL, like many things it started out as a silly wacky joke and then i got way too invested in the shrimplications of such a relationship

ok I know that someone else has most definitely already said this, but I just noticed that the trapper-trader reveal kinda has some perfect “post-reveal foreshadowing” if that makes sense?

In act 2, We learn that all the scribes have 4 subordinates/people they are somewhat related to: grimora’s three ghouls and the bone lord, P03’s three workers and rebecha, and Magnificus’s three students + plasma jimmy (who as we know was once his student who he ‘expelled’). So, Leshy should also have four (angler, prospector, woodcarver, and trapper-trader)… but if the trapper and the trader were two different people in their own separate bodies, then that would make him have five.

I find this particularly interesting because this foreshadowing is only given to us AFTER it is revealed that the trapper and the trader are the same guy. BUT. Chronologically, act 2 technically came before act 1, considering it shows how everything once was before leshy’s takeover.

while it is shown to us immediately that trapper and trader are one in the same when we first talk to them in act 2, (cuz their head spins around as they switch personalities), I still think it’s just this really neat completely unintentional thing.
